One thing id like to advice br Hijab, is that those who come into islam or those who leave due to their misguidance is down to ALLAH, you can’t nor will you be able to save these people, its only ALLAH who can, had ALLAH willed he could make everyone Muslims, your Dua is more powerful than your arguments from kalam, not every atheist is intellectual majority are definitely not, they have their own personal problem with ALLAH, argument from kalam isn’t going to change someones hatred toward ALLAH only Dua can and ALLAH may soften their hearts

Philosophy looks and sounds big and wide. But when one looks at it from up close, one can see just a big empty hole in it. Nothing is truly connected in it, its connections are imaginary (just subjective: guesses, assumptions and conjectures). It has no any weight (it's like an empty ball). The smallest argument from the Qur'an or Sunnah has more weight than all philosophical arguments in existence. ..................Using the arguments from the Qur'an and Sunnah, like: first cause argument, dependency argument, itc, then calling it "philosophical arguments" and inventing phrases like "islamic philosophy" is misrepresentation of rational reasoning arguments from the Qur'an and sunnah. That is like steeling from Qur'an and belittling it while in the same time putting philosophy on a pedestal (above the Qur'an). Proper use of our intelligence, insight and ability to reason on facts (analogy), is not a philosophy. It's simply proper use of the gifts that Allah s.v.a has given us. As we can use the gifts in a right way, we can also use it in a wrong way (like anything else). Not all rhetorical and rational reasoning arguments are philosophy. Only those arguments that use: guesses, assumptions, conjectures , are philosophical. In the Qur'an, there are also some rhetorical and reasoning arguments, but the Qur'an is certainly not philosophy, there are no guesses, assumptions or conjectures in it, it's a revelation from Allah s.v.a.

Yes, That video had to be addressed. I couldn’t believe if he was actually being serious. Some Muslims may Allah guide them, give the impression now, that Greek Philosophy should be regarded as a criterion to establish truth from falsehood. This tool is bankrupt. It’s a tool that can lead a person to potentially deny his own existence, tells you a lot about it. Quran and the Sunnah is the best tool for one’s Amnesty, Confidence, Guidance and Assurity in this life and in the next. If you’re using Philosophy to achieve the Quran and Sunnah, then that tells you, Quran and Sunnah are not sufficient to establish the truth. والعياذ بالله

To the people who are trying to “stand up” for MH: he clearly fell into error regarding the fact that philosophy can be used in Dawah as this is in opposition to what the salaf us saalih were upon. Shamsi is merely clarifying the erroneous stance MH has chosen to adopt, as an advice to MH and a portion of his followers who seem to agree with everything that comes out of his mouth, in addition to warning the people against such a stance.
Whoever amongst you sees an evil, he must change it with his hand; if he is unable to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is unable to do so, then with his heart; and that is the weakest form of Faith".

*But this does not prove that this 'thing' is intelligent or powerful, this does not prove God* .
I mean, this is ridiculous. They rather believe that the creation of everything is random rather than being actually created and designed. A person will never say that a Smartphone is not designed, but when it comes to the *one that made the phone and even the Universe, to that they say IT IS RANDOM* .

Firstly, may Allah guide Mohammed Hijab and correct his affairs, Ameen. I agree with the brother Shamsi because we should never deviate from the Sunnah of the Prophetصلى الله عليه وسلم. It is attached to the Shahadah which means: There is no one that should be followed after the Book of Allah except Muhammadصلى الله عليه وسلم.
Philosophy promotes the overly use of logic and shouldn't be followed or taught by a Muslim. Ali ibn Abi Mutalibرضي الله عنه said similarly:" If our religion was based on logic then we would have to wipe the bottom of the Kuffs instead of the top." Proof of the Sunnah being over the logic of men. The only thing that explains the Qur'an is the Sunnah. Shaykh Ibn al-Qayyam mentioned: "One of the forms of abandoning the Qur'an is to exchange its proofs for logic. May Allah pardon the Ummah of Muhammadصلى الله عليه وسلمon the Day of Judgement, Ameen.

But when I first heard them speak about these kalam arguments, none of it made sense to me, I was so confused, I was wondering if there was something wrong with me, I was like I don’t get how do they get to the conclusion (not because I rejected the conclusion, but bc I didn’t get the steps), like some of them would speak about how when something is made of parts and then the characteristics of of the subparts bs the characteristics of the whole, and so on and so forth. And it just didn’t really make sense as to why exactly people are subscribing to these laws of philosophy.

If someone is an atheist. And he is not convinced by the beautiful strong arguments in the Qur'an because he is stubborn or is not enlightened enough. Then the da'ee uses a kalam argument with arguments that does not go against the aqidah of salaf (Like the infinite regress argument) and is able to convince the atheist and the atheist reverts; is the da'ee sinful?

    • @bm1531
      @bm1531 Před 2 lety +2

The fundamental principle you have to understand is this: whoever Allah guides, none can misguide, and whoever Allah allows to be misguided, no one can guide him.
Allah alone is the one who guides. What is upon the muslim is to convey the message (with wisdom and good manners). If you stick to this principle you’ll never have any problems InshaAllah
The problem many Daee’s are falling into is that they’re so obsessed with trying to convince an individual and result in going beyond the boundaries of Islam, often resulting in them innovating or May Allah protect us, making Kufri statements. This may be harsh, but the reality is that the hellfire was created for a reason … it wasn’t created in vein or as a joke … some people will never accept Islam no matter what you tell them.
Our job is to convey … Allah is the one who guides … if one is stubborn, move on akhi. If that person is dear to you, make dua for them and perhaps Allah softens their heart.
As for the infinite regress argument etc … akhi it does go against the Aqidah of the salaf (simply put, Allah is capable and competent of all things والله على كل شيئ قدير). In order to understand this topic in details, I invite you to read در تعارض العقل والنقل by Sheikh-ul-Islam Ibn Tayymiyyah … but in order to understand this book you have to be grounded upon the aqeedah of Ahlus Sunnah and should take this book and it’s prerequisites from the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah.
