    Thanks for sharing this. Would be interesting to log exhaust back pressure too. I can now see how the coldgate could be setup to work well...with ALOT of work lol

    I was typing the cold side gate question when you started to say something

    I know it sounds dumb, but I've always wanted to do this on supercharged applications. I realize you can figure it out via math, but having the data in a datalog would be awesome.

      Build a math channel in the log super easy

      @@theholleyefiguy sadly I'm still a peasant and only have a Terminator X and not a real ECU like an HP/Dominator so that option doesn't exist for me in the datalog. I guess I could export my datalog to Excel and add it manually.

    If boost drops as rpm goes up, is that just an indication of the turbo supplying the same amount of air (same shaft speed) but the engine consuming more air (more rpm) ?

      @theholleyefiguy  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes sir exactly
      So we need to give it more dome pressure at higher rpm

    All these backwards ways of turbo control. Why isnt the aftermarket doing vgt turbos. They're over 20 years old now.

      1. They are super restrictive on the hot side. Meaning you need significantly bigger turbo for same performance.
      2. They are know for jamming in hard conditions(antilag, 2step, diessel soot buildup)
