In Thailand, traditional brick making near the Ping River, Chiang Mai the process is similar, but families burn waste rice husks to fire the bricks. Brick sizes and batch sizes are smaller, but the end product is serviceable for house building. Usually the walls are built within concrete beams as a "space-filler", and are cement rendered on both inner and outer surfaces. There are frequent earthquake tremors around Chiang Mai, one severe case about three years after my house was built, but after twenty three years the house still stands solidly.
What I don't understand is why people throw the bricks around like that! This means that the edges break and it is no longer possible to lay them down properly, so crooked walls are standard! What I also can't understand is that the kindling isn't made to the same size as the fire hole, so you use more wood and lose valuable wood and heat!
would it help you understand if you knew these are literally slaves you are watching? not 'craftsmen' or 'workers' or anybody else who is there by choice?
The Manufacturing processus of bricks is fine ,but the transportation is horrible for the poor donkey, I am sad for them, really look at their legs . I feel so sad for them
The guy making the bricks does a great job, the next guy who stacks them ready to be moved to the kiln does a great job, the guys with the donkeys is a jerk, he miss treats his donkey and throws the sun dried bricks around damaging all the good work that the first two guys did. The treatment of the bricks after they are fired is just as bad. I feel sorry for the first two guys who have worked their butts off putting out really good bricks only to have everyone else after them just tosses them around damaging the bricks. It’s a shame the rest of them cannot take the same pride in their work as the brick maker and the guy who stacks them.
sadly for these guys, I have watched a construction truck spit out bricks by the thousands in mere minutes essentially doing in an afternoon what these guys would do in a year.
Look at that smog. And watching that *Brickie* I now understand why all the buildings look so poorly made. He's clearly self taught. So, with that in mind, he's actually doing a pretty good job laying those bricks.
*Дичь какая! А печь для обжига из этих самых кирпичей построить никак?! К чему такие сложности? А кирпич надо класть используя вместо раствора гашеную известь. Она с временем только прочность набирает.*

My knees hurt just looking at them work. Love the videos
Глядя как разгружают, вываливают, вспомнил советский киножурнал "фитиль", репортаж о том, что очень много битого кирпича из за погрузки/ разгрузки .
У них кирпичь стоит 3 копейки, можно и побить 😅

If they tool more care instead of throwing them around before they were fired they would get less waste.
Cool video

Os animais estão maltratados, com feridas nas ancas é um absurdo.
Lo malo es que maltratan al producto terminado, y lo entregan con averías.
Шедеврально👍
