Digging a pond with a Compact Tractor - Kioti CK20s
Good machines!
Should have wheel weights or ballast fluid. Even a box blade or a scoop full of dirt on the rear would make a huge improvement in production and safety. Nice pond, though and fun to watch video. Reminds me of my uncle building a pond in the 50's with his 8N and fotd loader and rear scoop. Bet he'd loved to use your rig back then!
How does it look filled up?
Great job Phil! Like your equipment. It sure gets the job done.
Excellent video
Your an animal, nice work!
What size blade was used?
Sipe one, sip one
is there anyone to puncture the tire w/ this? or almost idiot proof? ty , great stuff
My neighbor has a little Kioti CK20. He has had it for about 15 years. The only problem he has ever had was a broke axle but he told me that was his fault for overloading his bucket with rock. He wore out from use his toggle control arm. He has replaced both of those and used his tractor all the time. They are very impressive machines. I have a John Deere 1025R but would love to have a Kioti CK35.
Nice sequoia,i got an 07 got the 2020 ck2510 delivering next week lookin to do project like yours great footage
That is awesome!!! Makes me want to do it too!
I wish somebody making one of these videos would actually say it helped lol
This is ME in the video. Sorry, I just saw this reply. My account was hacked and this low budget video was stolen from me by this person who posted it and therefore I was never notified of a comment. To answer your question, Grooving definitely helps. I plow on mainly asphalt and this is where I notice the difference. I don’t notice much of a difference doing any other work. I feel it made enough of a difference that I have done my newest tractor and I do recommend it.
Helps if you keep the front tires on the ground. And looks like to big of a pusher for that tractor.
That is real cool, it is also reason number 3 to not buy used tractors lol
Will Scrudato What did he do here that was so bad? Tractors is one thing you should buy used.
@@Perish1 You mean tractors arent just stylish lawn furniture?
How many HP is that tractor?
Did you notice a big difference in traction after?
How many quartic yards displaced per hour passed?
well this is a coincidence lol I just come across this video while taking a break from digging a fish pond with my Kioti ck3510
How many yards of chips could one make in 8hrs?
That chipper does very well despite not having a "feeder gear". Is there anything you don't like about it? How does it compare to other chippers you've used?
Cool video! I'd like to see a finished product. Good music too! Steve and Denise are my neighbors. Curious, are you from the mid Michigan area?
I could never dig like that with my tractor. It would start filling up immeadietly.
Glad that you like that music!!!!
Enjoyed the video!.....a friend of mine dug a pond out and was having trouble getting it to hold water. He fenced some hogs in around the pond temporarily . Some how just having them down in there rooting around worked. It holds water fine now.
good video great songs!
Feel free to check out m.facebook.com/kiotivic/ It's a page I started for Kioti tractor owners.
'Merica
not only thanks for showing what this tracktor can actually do! and also for bring in steve armstrong into my life!!!!
I have the CK20S too, and I have the tires 'loaded ' and it sure makes a difference to traction and tractive effort too. These Kioti's with HST and 22 H.P. engine are really impressive. You've done a good job with this one, Mario. Now all you have to buy next is the back hoe attachment, ( there's a good way to 'ballast' this tractor ) Nice video !
Thanks for video!
That tractor works really good I'm surprised
its better digging with a tooth bar.but great job
You would have put a lot less strain on your tractor's front axle, had you maintained ballast on the Three Point Hitch. Its fun lifting the rear wheels, but not safe and VERY HARD ON FRONT AXLE AND WHEEL BEARINGS.
Another video ruined with shit music
im so glad this musoc was playing, this video showed me this bad ass band! lol put it on mute next time
He likes back street boys.
No fines from the epa? We wanted to put one in on our farm. .. I guess it is a big no no
Quick questions... How did the pond turn out? Any problems? Finish photos? I'm getting ready to start the same project with the same tractor although I'll be damming up a valley backing up about 2 acres of water. My intent is to build a dam that will end up about 20 feet high and wide enough at the top to drive a vehicle across. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Finally a video that will show me the true capabilities if the 25 hp tractors. Thanks. I am impressed.
what happened to the 1648?
chicken!
chicken!
tne chike that co es out is funnyy
why did you steal my youtube videos?
How do you like your tractor?
Ok video music really sucked though.
turn off the music
I enjoyed the video; thanks for sharing it. It's always good to find real working compact tractors to watch while I'm waiting on delivery of mine. Only thing is, for future viewers, never let your kids in a dry trench or pond. I've seen plenty of videos of collapsed dirt walls. THose buried are dead before even the equipment can get them out.
Need a little more weight for that big beast. Hydraulics work well though.
I really like my Kioti but the injector pump went out and had it fixed and now its out again and come to find out a VERY high percentage of their pumps fail and at it gets extremely expensive!!! They really should have recalled them and replaced them free of charge since they are junk.
you need some teeth on that bucket, good job on the pond!
