I have visited Gran Canaria island with my family for holiday in February 2020 for 9 days. We have stayed in Tauro estate near Puerto Rico and travelled all around the island. We were lucky to visit this beautiful island just before the lock down in Spain happened. Also we have experienced the strongest Calima (Sandstorm) in the decades as the locals said. This was my first time to experience something like this and I would never forget this.
One of my tips would be to rent a car if you want to explore the island.

Between 23rd February and 1st of March 2024 we have been staying at the hotel Coral Los Alisios, Carretera Vieja a Guaza, 38627 Arona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain in room C407. My wife developed progressive bites from bedbugs due to the infestation with bedbugs in our room. I enclose pictures of the insects - bedbugs. Also, I attach pictures with the lesions that my wife suffered. Please take measures, it seems that many other tourists had the same complaint, and the hotel did not take complete action to solve this problem.

Son islas diferentes " La Palma" es una isla geologica joven, unos 2 millones de añis de ahi su vilcanismo reciente. Gran Canaria con una edad geologica de unos 14 millones de años , hace siglos que no tiene erupciones.

I used to live in that second heaven for ten years (I'm not from there) But moved back a year ago. I seriously can't survive in the cold and depressing country where I am right now. 😢 I really regret moving away from that place. Living there felt like an endless summer holiday.
