Brings back memories from some in Norwich, they had the same style of interior car operating panel. I doubt I will probably ever see one of these TMS installs ever again, they are vanishing very quickly.

no because he is in a group of 7 elevators which are in the building, you see him in the video at the end

Those elevators are in great condition well maintained. The geared traction machines look recent, at 1st glance I thought they were gear-less with how fast they ascended.
yes it's true but they were still replaced 2 years ago in the end
What is the max speed the MX32 line is capable of?
@@QEElevators the maximum I have seen in France is 7m/s but I think it can go faster

@@QEElevators yes the MX40 is rarely used, the only one I saw was on a 5400kg elevator on 42 levels at 3m/s

yes and unfortunately they will all disappear even this one. I don't work there currently but maybe one day.
@@Liftandcars Ah I hope they last for a while yet. Do you know if they’re planning to modernise them or not? Also, I’d love to know where these are so that I can go and take a ride sometime! I have 2 Kone button panels like this at home - I would like to be able to have another go before they disappear forever 🙂
@@EscalatorsAnywhere It was planned that they would be renovated by LCE but it was postponed, we don't know until when. And they are in Paris in a hospital in the center but they are there for patients and forbidden to individuals.

ps, thats actually a otis motor from the eighties. those 2 otises were og then kone just slapped a fixture, and logic mod. The 2 on top are complete tear out mods or original new elevators
It’s possible, I didn’t know. I didn't think that these Otis engines worked with Kone, especially in France.
@@Liftandcars it doesn’t really matter about the motor. The motor is just something that requires a logic to run. You can attach any logic to it. That’s mainly why in the us, most modernized elevators run on original motors with updated logics
@@LiftandcarsAnyways, they run on a dc generator so all it has to do is have 1 extra circuit that turns on the motor😂

No, this is a modernization of the interior of the elevator and not a machine room. This is the 2006 LCE with MX18
