    Hey just wanted to say thank you Stephen for creating these courses, I am really learning a lot and appreciate all the hard work going into all of this. As someone who just bought your course on Udemy, it would be nice if you removed the "old" way of doing input mapping, as following both the old way and new way feels a bit redundant, I understand why it's being done, I just feel like it should be archived or used as extra resources for those that are interested.

    I was throwing here from your course. I will say...the course is perfect but this part is so frustating. Taking this video without referencing anything and try to understand is so hard.       I posted how to do that but looks like we have to wait until it gets accepted. But quickly, you have to go to the skeleton of sparrow and change from some animation to skeleton. I did it on the pelvis and it pretty much seems to have fixed it.

    No matter what I do it says "cannot open source file "InputAction.H" (and same for other Enhanced Inputs). The project was a 4.x UE project that was upgraded to 5, and adding to Build.cs does not seem to resolve this sadly.

    Or if you use godot, you don't need to worry about the orientation of the mesh until you load the scene- in which you can customize as you want! Granted no in-built sockets make this a bit harder....

    When creating the TexCoord to scale the UV for the Normal at 46:25, shouldn't the values be set to 0.5 to match the scaling of the textures (16:48)? Otherwise the effect of the normal won't be aligned to the texture.

    hey stephen, I am doing the udemy course of yours where we build an RPG in UE5 and I'm a bit confused of how jumping got implemented. From what I can see we created an input action IA_Jump which just triggers a bool when hitting space. Then we declared the UInputAction* JumpAction in our .h file, and bound the action to our input mapping and then to our character. However what I am confused about is that we never defined what the character should do when the action is triggered, yet the character jumps when triggered. I assume this is because ASlashCharacter::Jump is defined in the ACharacter class already? If so, is it possible to access these generic actions to modify them? Thanks for the answer, love your course!

      Yes, Jump is a function on the ACharacter class. It is also virtual so you can override it and call ACharacter's Jump function (via Super::Jump()) in addition to adding your own custom logic.

      You might not have swizzled input axes correctly

    In the animation sample, they have a bunch of different characters using the same animations. So how did they do that? Because here we have to create a whole new set of animations. How do we just use the mixamo character on the animations already done, without creating a whole entire set of animations just for it
