Sorry but I had a very bad experience at this hotel. I was there for the second time February 2023. Coming from Nuat Thai, I ordered the cordillera salad with strawberries. Whilst eating, I noticed something was crawling on top of the bowl. They were maggots! I called the attention of the waiter and the cashier and they witnessed all this together with my partner. I went to the toilet and puked. I was not able to sleep at all not knowing how many I have swallowed. The following morning, I demand a full refund of my hotel stay (this happened on my first day and we were booked for three days). Their online reservation stated that they do not issue a refund but I demanded one otherwise, I would go straight to the Dept of Health and report it. It would definitely result to the closure of the hotel in the height of Panagbenga Festival. Luckily they gave me the refund and we transferred to another hotel. They offered me a replacement of the salad that night but I refused. I would not trust the food that they serve ever again. Sorry, but attention to hygiene and details is paramount when it comes to food preparation. Never again, City Light Hotel!
