Great video my friend. I've always been a Nelson -Rigg fan myself, but Mosko Moto makes some quality stuff that's waaayyyy out of my price range lol
@CountryBoy1069 every issue I've never had they have resolved great stuff everything I've broken has been my fault I've warrantied 2 tank bags that's it one because the clear part busted another the stitching came loose... I use some nelson rigg stuff still.. but over the years have transitioned to mostly giant loop.. my favorite nelson rigg item is the r12 12 pack cooler.. they discontinued it but it's great for taking cold drinks camping
I wanted easily removable waterproof soft bags that offered an outer layer to protect the dry bag and the only options I found are givi rhinowalk lone rider and mosko moto... I liked the look and quick relese on mosko
@@Offroadadv1 Nelson-Rigg also has removable dry bags with their Hurricane bags. Here is the order number if you have the Nelson-Rigg bags. SE-4050 Replacement Saddlebag Liners. I just bought two new removable dry bags last week for my KLR. With all that said. Persional, I think they all make good products myself. It's just up to what yo can afford to buy. That's all.
@CountryBoy1069 I like their products I'd recommend them to others.. I just happend to have the opportunity for the upgrade and I messed up my other bag so I went ahead and ordered the mosko bags... no hate on the nelsom rigg stuff at all
@@Offroadadv1 I know my friend. I wan't thinking you were hating on Nelson-Rigg at all. Like I say. They are all good bags. I like them all my self.
It seems that the newer versions do not have AUX power jack anymore (older gen had 2x 2-pin connector?). Now there's only fog lights connector left (3-pin) that can be used. / this is partially verified info (right side of my tenere doesn't have 2pin jacks, just one 3-pin)
Are y’all from alabama
Upstate South Carolina
what campground is this? thanks.
We left from 2 wheels of suches motorcycle camp ground
the celebratory wheelie coming out of the water convinced me to hit the subscribe button 😆
Glad to see it lol thanks alot I appreciate it... I'll be posting more videos soon last year was kinda hectic
Subscribed as well... I love the look of the 901
Is that Puig a good windshield?
I like it it's well made a little tall for me but it's a quality wind screen I've debated on selling mine as I've went back to stock
Your camera was pointing too low. You'd have better video, IMHO if you adjust is a little higher. Safe travels!
Yeah I didn’t realize until I got home and started editing I was pretty bummed
What gps are you using? Fun video. I hope to do that some day. Also why did you say the Forest Service would have cameras and you'd get tickets? Is that really a thing?
What’s the fuel efficiency on your bike?
The wr250r I average 50 to 60 mpg most times
Nice, love it, hook me up, love to ride with ya
are the trails after overlook (about 23:00) a part of the main route?? looks like a blast
You do know that these are not one way trails?
Yep
Cool video this is mj
Sold my KLR650 after dropping it. Takes two to lift. Not good for solo rides. Dual Sport bikes are best for riding like this video
Looks like Parsons Mountain?
Part 2 excellent. Drew is one durable dude. 😁
I'll have to have you teach me how to ride faster! You're hauling on that thing!
Tons of ride time lol 😆 and little brain
I'm looking at a white Chevy pickup at the hospital in Easley. It's this your channel?
Still on stock tires?
Yeah gonna wear them out then go with somthing more aggressive
@@Offroadadv1 Good deal, i enjoyed the video, i have a 450rl and just bought a 23 tenere so it was cool to see both on the same trails
Damn i live a little over an hour from Tellico plains, i gotta get me an xt250 now!
Great area to ride tons of places to explore I wish I lived closer
What mic are you using while recording?
I was using purple panda but I'm currently trying out a different one off Amazon that seems to be better for me but not sure yet lol
This will be my first year riding. I have the exact same hard bags on my klr. I need to get rid of them before I bust my leg
They are great for on road but a risk off road
Congrats. New Bike day is the best. :)
Oh yeah exciting for sure 😄
Just rode my new Tenere for the first time today. 20.6 miles on the odometer now. Love the bike. If John Browning designed a motorcycle it would be a T7.
Wow. Awesome vid. I'll be making my way on this trail come later this month. Excited for it.
It's awesome for sure
I live at the crossroads of the SM500 and Georgia Traverse just above Ellijay in Cherry Log. Great riding country on both pavement and dirt.
I live up this way, Just starting building an overland truck, I use a lot of these roads as shakedown day trips with my kids.......If you ever see us out and about in the woods in a Big Black Yukon XL, give us a wave
The "German Triumph" is mentioned because Bud Ekins (Stuntman in the film "The Great Escape") judged a wartime BMW wouldn't have made the proposed jump so a post war Triumph twin was used instead, so not German at all but a faked one for the film. Triumph did have a German connection as can be seen at the following link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triumph_(TWN)
Really enjoyed your video until you started cussing seems like everybody’s got a bad mouth nowadays.
I try not to so much on camera but being in construction it comes natural habits are hard to break
Quit being a snowflake and expecting others to cater to your bitch ass.
Cool video! Loving those Porches for sure!!
Just heard about this event today. Seriously looking into 2022, thanks for posting. Excited to watch through this.
It's deffinatly worth the ride
looks like a great route! can't wait to try it
nice trip! where's the map or gpx for the smokey mountain 500 - and especially this tellico plains to suches leg? thanks
I got the route off of the sm500 fb group in the files section of the group
We're getting ready to do that route. What mapping app do you have on your phone? I have the Zumo xt too. What go pro mount is that on your chin? I would like to put mine there as well.
So as far as go pro mounts I'd recommend chin mounts brand helmet specific mounts Phone app is osmand+ they have a free version as well that should work good but u have the paid version... In this video I just have a pro shot mount I heated and bent to fit my helmet it worked but not well
@@Offroadadv1 Thanks, will do some research.. more research lol..
@@captsam54 osmand Gia and onx are good apps
I'm on my 3rd day of the SCAR. I am staying in hotels tho. My body would quit on me if I was camping, lol
How was your trip.. not sure why I'm just now seeing this comment lol
What's up! I think I passed y'all going the other way at Hwy86 and 81 today, was that y'all?
@@mountainmancaraway6431 well next time you see me stop me and I'll give ya my number or somthing
Dude that dash setup is sick!
Thanks its a perebelum shield with a custom dash I made from kydex.. it's the material they make gun holsters out of its tough and you just heat it bend it and let it cool and it holds shape
Bit confused about the Forest Service and a $400 ticket in the mail. What happened where that was a risk that could materialize?
Behind your white jeep in traffic rn lmao
We rode the bikes today I think u got the wrong guy lol ..... where at?
@@Offroadadv1 it was in greenwood SC yu were driving a white jeep with a orange stripe had your YT channel on the back I was in a green lifted truck
@@LilsmeattYT ah wasn't me lol I'm in easley must be one of the old jeeps 🤣
Does the windscreen deflect bugs from your goggles / face shield? Thanks
Thanks for commenting
You are getting it. Can almost feel the wind. Very cool thanks for sharing. Stay safe 😊
Awesome, guys! Thanks for bringing the rest of us along!
cool
I’ve been looking up off-road trails that are beginner friendly. I’ve got an F150 with 6 inches of lift and 35 inch tires. I assume it’s more than capable of handling this?
For sure some of the side trails may have brush that could scratch the side a little but main trail is clear and you will for sure be perfectly fine
I’d never make it through on my Tiger 900 Rally Pro.
You guys are hardcore. I would be too exhausted to keep that pace.
We go to Sarah’s Creek often to camp. You from that area?
Upstate sc not to far off
@@Offroadadv1 I’m a Cherokee owner myself and I’m trying to get like mind Cherokee owners together for occasional weekend rides. If you know of other owners hit me up.
@@StandAloneAdventures I'd be down sometime me and a few buddys all camp and wheel in our cherokees and dual sports U got snap chat? Dirtbikeracer96 Is my snap
@@Offroadadv1 sounds good!!! We do a lot of FS roads ( forest service) through north Georgia, nothing major just some creek crossings and riding to find your primitive camping areas.
@@StandAloneAdventures add me on snap chat or Instagram or Facebook we can get together sometime and camp
You think this would be able to get done in 2wd? On light AT / all season tires?
The main trail for sure some of the side trails to get to camps can be a little more difficult but still probably doable... there were a bunch or pre runner styled cars that were 2 wheel drive going down the trail
How was your double sleeping bag?
