Because the “crimp” is that plastic piece on these newer vehicles. That’s where it broke

It definitely made it a stiffer ride. If you have rough roads this will make it worse. You can upgrade the shocks but it still will make the front end more stiff

Well I no longer own this vehicle. But I do still have the 2020 Silverado that I used torch off road lift on. What kind of long term review are you looking for?

@misaelcastro4328 is just start checking for spark issues. And fuel issues maybe. These are notorious for CDI and stuff to quit. Cheap harnesses and parts made in China. Both of mine are down right now because of the same stuff. I have to order some harnesses

Also what inch lift blocks did you install, 3inch or 2.5in etc?

I used the 2 1/2” rear blocks. And you can run stock shocks. They just won’t function properly at absorbing the bumps and such because they are extended so far out. You can run stock though. Before you even get started let me tell you that the front end is extremely difficult. Make sure you have all of the proper tools. Be safe. Those coil springs are dangerous. toss the heads.. Find a set of Dove heads or C8 or C9 heads! put those on there.. Thunderjet heads@@HartRockGarage
