Hi, I just sold it to a friend with 11 000 km on the clock and never a issue. I used to make 400 to 600 km trip cruising at 120 km. I've got Motorcycle now.

Hi, Well I was hesitated also but the mp3 is too ugly :-) I did 11000 km using it every day and most of the winter time at -14 degrees. no issue at all on mine I did all services on time. I sold it to a friend he already add 3 000 km to it and work like a charm. I've motorcycle now but we have plan a 2000 km road trip with my friend this summer.

Hi, No the compartment in the middle do not lock, do not put any valuable goods in it. I am using it for cloves, sun classes, maps etc. I hope you enjoy your Metropolis :-) save ride.

Hi, I'm glad that you enjoy the ride on the Metropolis, it was the same for me and I bought it :-) I will look forward to your video with it :-) Before I used the GIVI xmodular xo8 I think, it was fine but on the metropolis, it was too noisy and too light at high speed. Now I have the Caberg Ego Quartz which is much better, also you can open the top which is very appreciable in the summertime. www.caberg.it/en/helmets/full-face/ego Enjoy the ride, Drive safe. :-)

Hi, So far yes, very happy 6000 km on the clock now, everything it's original on the bike, I did not change anything to not lose the warranty. The scooter stays all winter outside no issue, I even use it at -14 degrees. Hopefully, it will keep going like this, fingers crossed​. :-)

Hi, On the highway, it's very stable on the nice road no shaking at all. Some turbulence occurs if there is a lot of wind or if you're to close behind a car or a truck which is normal I guess. The longest I tried at full speed is 10 km, it handles it very well but the nice crossing speed is 120 - 125, to me it looks like that you can stick on that speed for a very long time, of course, you need to stop to the gas station every 220 km on average. About touring, for a scooter, I will say yes, highway, nice road, is a pleasure to ride it, I am planning some long trip when the weather will get better, 400 km, some of them 800 - 900 km one way, from Czech Republic to Germany, France, Austria, so I will have a better idea about the engine, touring and the durabilities of the scooter.

Hey @@johnroclert8910! Can you give a bit of insight of your experience until now with the metropolis? Did you went on big trips in the meanwhile? How does the metropolis handle it regarding speed and confort? and about maintenance costs, can you share also your experience with this? Is not easy to find such information online. Thanks and keep up with the riding!

@@johnroclert8910 whats gping on with the front suspention ??? I hear there is like a limit or stop that will not allow the rider to turn as much as you want. Is it that bad ??? Its only one shock with no adjustments at the front !!!!

Hi Pascal, Thank you for your comment. You're right it's a pleasant scooter to drive, I was the first surprised when I test it :-) My advice to all will be to test drive it, I cannot say it enough, its the only way to find out if it's for you. We cannot hear much the engine as I have the cam on the left-hand side of the helmet in the case but it's not that loud, on a long journey is appreciated. On that day for the test drive, it was very windy and no windshield, also a new scooter like 26 km on the clock. I can see the difference with mine that has now over 3000 km it's much responsive.
