She´s absolutely right. people today do not have the serenity ro read anymore, to listen to albums, the attention span is reduced to seconds. It was amazing what could be done with early synths. Even what the bell phone system became, shaped humanity behaviour, and people would communiate, you could call your friends and talk for hours, even phone phreaks were brilliant. But today we have a digital communication and information standard never imagined. You can call for free instantly anyone on earth. Have access to any media, but awkwardly people do not answer the phone. Anyone bothers to communicate, we dont call friends. Are we to busy having fun ? When did we lost it?

"Tillicum," Syrinx's theme for Here Come The Seventies, managed to just make it into the Canadian top 40 in 1971, peaking at 38 in June. It predated Hot Butter's international smash "Popcorn," which reached 15 in Canada, by a year. Daringly for a network TV show in 1970 the opening of Here Come the Seventies included a shot from behind of a naked woman walking into a lake. It aired on CTV between 1970 and 1973. You can find the opening sequence on CZcams, but full episodes have not appeared. It's possible that the originals no longer exist.

.. Dave Smith on Keyboards and Les Paul on guitar invented some of the most important things that have changed music forever. They are the kings I bow to !!!! Even Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin is on video with Les Paul. And even Eddie Van Halen and Michael Jackson achieved massive success thanks to Dave Smith's sequencer and Midi inventions. Thank you Dave for coming to Earth and leaving it much better. I personally use his technology in my music which I would have never been able to otherwise.

Clap is the only sound I could identify as "off model." But that's purely subjective. Great video. I've done several albums with the classics, and a prophet 600 on 2 of them. So there's a lot of common ground. I discovered his work today. And pre-ordered a unit immediately. I hope this next 880 run funds his poly synth aspiration.
