A - Alter: What would they like to alter about what they have now? D- Decision: Who is the real final Decision maker? S - Solution: What can you do for them to fix that?
This is some solid underrated advice
I worked and trained with Tom. At that time it was called Champions Unlimited. The bottom line is Tom's techniques WORK. I am retired and still use his tie downs. Follow Tom and apply his knowledge. You will never be sorry or look back.

I am from New Zealand and I watched your FHS tapes and played your cassettes in the car back in 1989 (age 28); over and over I played them. I started in real estate that year in June and spent three weeks learning the streets and our stock. Thanks to you Tom, I averaged 14 conditional sales (nine of which went unconditional) every month until Christmas. I just did what you taught and it worked like magic. How do you deal with GK that don't want to reveal that information? They might say "We can't give that out, but if you leave a name and message we'll get back to you". We can work around them ie call early or a different department but my thinking is, if you're continually getting blocked (if that is the only route) then time to move on. What would you advise?

I was especially taken by Tom's observations about some folks using social media as a means for avoiding personal contact with the customer. I recently offered a Pittsburgh technology company an opportunity to provide my project with their technology and their so-called Chief Sales Engineer declined opportunities to speak with me by phone about our project and limited our relationship to email where I was given fifty reasons from Sunday why their technology would not work for our intended purpose. This 'sales engineer' may have been an engineer, as so am I, but I can assure you that they hardly qualified as a sales person. I emailed this Pittsburgh company's chief competitor in Montreal with the same high level project offer and within minutes I was covered over with communications from people at every level of the sales process offering to make this project happen. They were totally excited! Some folks today believe that social media relieves them from belly to belly customer relationships which is really sad, right Tom?
