Scan the you tube for palabok with cream mushrooms there’s some few version. Loved the cream of mushrooms. I used the Anatto seeds instead, I just cooked with olive oil and used the oil to sautee plus drizzles some to the plated palabok or just mix all together

cream of mushroom is not part of palabok
In a context, cream of mushroom can be the substitute for flour to thicken the sauce, it’s a better use than using the palabok mix. Remember, the old folk does not have choice or other ideas how to make the palabok. Cooking is an arts there is no such thing the right way… different places in the Philippines has different ways of cooking and uses different ingredients. Wise people will try to learn different versions whatever suited their palates
