This is one of my most popular designs. In this video I'll show you my process of shaping and engraving a plain band of platinum into an exquisitely detailed ring.

As a relatively new Jeweler I would have really appreciated you talking about what you were doing and why. If you didn't want to talk through the video some notes on the screen from time to time explaining what you were doing, tools you were using, etcetera would have been enjoyable. Your work is stunning

Improvising to create best possible result always best avenue to achieve great results. Somewhat in parallel with painters, a true artist may even use their fingers to create art. It worked with this piece, greatly.

Wow. I applaud you on your dedication and beautiful work. I took jewelry making in high school a long time ago. I made a few things of silver with wire and pre made ring molding. I remember how difficult it was to work with such a small object. I even carved a ring out of wax and unfortunately didn’t measure the amount of metal correctly. I ended up with the ring missing the top part of the carving. I was so devastated. It took hours to carve the ring.
