Misha is a Finnish music producer. He lives in Helsinki and has roots in Ukraine. In May 2018, he released his instrumental debut Feel through Chillhop Music. After a couple of releases via Chillhop, Misha has been consistently putting out new music.
Known for his numerous collaborations with different artists like Moonchild's Amber Navran, Oddisee, Nate Smith, Katori Walker and KALLITECHNIS, Misha moves effortlessly between beat music, alternative r&b, hip-hop and nu-funk. Whether it's the soulful chord progressions, sophisticated arrangements or dreamy sounds, Misha's production will take you on a journey. \u2028
Along with over 70M streams, the prolific artist has received support from Okayplayer, Soulection Radio, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Jazz FM, CBC, and many others. "Radiant is Finnish producer Misha's newest LP and it's a cosmic, hopeful, feel-good album. His sophomore full-length acts as a fine follow-up to 2022's Nocturnal, a project that dwelled in the lunar nighttime. Now, Misha continues to stay out past his bedtime, but it's with a brighter glow and shining aura. A more powerful halo of galactic gleam. These are soulful R&B tracks and downtempo vibes. Electrified hip-hop meets synthy grooves meets boombox beats.
Chiaroscuro is an art technique utilizing the contrast between light space and dark shadows. While Nocturnal focuses on the darkness, Radiant provides the brightness. Shining stars against the black sky. A spotlight on a lounge bar. A disco ball in the club."
Recorded during 2022 and 2023 in Helsinki, London, New York, Portland, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Durham (NC), Richmond, Washington D.C., Niederentzen and Bali.
