Vi är 2 bröder som älskar volvo bilar och allt som har med volvo att göra. Kommer att dyka upp diy videon på hur man fixar fel på bilen och givetvis kan det även dyka upp saker om andra bilar. Just nu är det mest focus på våran 740 som vi håller på o stoppar t5a i. Hoppas ni kommer gilla kanalen och vill ni premunera på kanalen så gör det!! Vi ses :-)

Hey! i have a 850 t5 with a blown AC compressor, i want to bypass the AC with a shorter belt, but do u know the length on the belt that u used in this Video? :)

Is it the 2.3 t5 ? Did it need much fab ? And the driveshaft and the diff ?
Its from 850 t5 2.3L.. you need oilpan from volvo 960/s90 and driveshaft from 960/s90. And you can also use the gearbox from 960/s90.. The m90 white gearbox and it fits perfect no modification. You can also use bmw gearbox but it needs to be modifieded to fitt. Wiring you take from 850t5 and ecu as well

Could you tell me a list of the parts you used to build the car except the original parts of 740. I would be grateful as i myself have a similar project which includes T5 engine. I build the Volvo 940 1991 sedan. I admire how good the project has become.
Sorry for late answer. Oilpan from volvo 960 Inercooler volvo 940 Engine cooler 960 Engine harness volvo 850 t5 -94 and electric box. Waterpipe the small and big one volvo 960 Engine mounts from volvo 960 Gearbox volvo 960 and clutch 850 r Gearshift volvo 960 Manifold from volvo v70 -05 they call it the straight one
@@mekbrothers6525 960 parts you mean from a I6?? The 5cyl engine can be just a 2.3l from a 94 850 with the 850 manifold?? for any chance do you know if I can swap this engine with a AW71???
André Parra you take manifold from the late v70t5 or s60t5 they call it the straight manifold. Yes you take parts from volvo s90/960 2.5l -3.0l.. s90/v90 2.5l have the m90H transmission and it fits straight on.. 850 t5 you have it in 2.3L engine and italian import version 2.0L

Koks Korriik Hey! You take mounts from volvo 960/s90 it fits crossmember bolton,and also transmission( m90H )from 960/s90 it fits bolton and also transmission mount fits from same car. Anything else just ask me bro/ Cheers 😀

I use harness from 850 t5 -94 and also ecu. Yeah its cheaper to buy doner car :)

Hey what are you guys doing for wiring and the ECU. Are you transferring over the wiring harness from a T5 and Motronic 4.4, or using the factory harness with an aftermarket ECU.
Ariel T5 You take engine harness from volvo 850 t5 and ecu from 94-95 modell 850 t5. You dont have to do so much to the engine harness,but the harness that goes in the car you need to cut some things that you dont need from the 850 t5.

I got 700hp 740 t5. You fucked up by having this much effort and put volvo gearbox in. Sorry dude but you need ZF gs6-53Dz with 0.84 6 gear (1000+nm). proper drilled driveshafts 12cm 10mm wide. reinforce torgue bars. 1031 welded diff. Megasquirt ms3x. Put 0.8mm shims between the sylinders. Who the fuck does 740 swap with shitty parts like this??? Cmon man if you go with m90 why wont stick with redblock?! Your wasting your energy and life by doing this wrong sorry my man its just how it is. Pull the engine back up and sell the m90. Make new exhaust manifold and throw the stock turbo in trashcan peace. :D
Hi! Shitty parts?? Are you kidding me? engine is original thats why i use m90h transmission and its the easiest way to get everything Bolton. Zf is not Bolton! Am showing people have to swap with the easiest parts,and with original engine you dont need bmw zf transmisson when you only have 226hk.. I will drive it like this one summer and than i will put engine from v70 -05 t5 that already have the good parts.. This swap am doing its my first ever…. And by the way you should buy torsendiff for your 1031 it dont last long with welding :D
@@mekbrothers6525 Thats why I said drill your driveshafts with welded diff. 10mm wide 13cm deep. Lasted me 2 years with serious power and 245 tires. Now I swapped gm12 rear 4 link with 33 spline axles. Just saying bro if you put effort into car do it right (+500hp)or buy stock car with the power already 200+hp. This type of vid is waste of time because swapping engine like this takes time and real deal guys know that so good luck with 224hp Should have just upgraded redblock a bit and same results and 100x easier '--'. Im triggered now. Wiring old stock T5 ecu into 740 waste of time bro
