Thank you! I looked into it a little bit, because I didn't know at the time when posting these videos, but I do believe I made one of the first rant videos about Powerless. I've loved watching everyone else's videos about it though, because all of us who don't like it, don't like it for the same reasons, but for the most part every rant video is different and I love that.

I'd prefer to call it valid criticism. While not necessarily constructive--I have to admit--what I said is valid and has been restated by other more popular BookTubers. I didn't hate the book, at least thinking back on it I don't, but this is more of a "it's so bad, its funny in a good way" sort of book.

It was an issue I carried with me through the rest of the book too lol

I saw seasons 1-3 of the show and a couple of the movie and Equestria Girls movies, but I haven't seen anything past that.

These are my thoughts exactly. For a while the only video reviews I saw about Powerless were positive, even after I published my videos about the book. I've been seeing a lot more negative reviews about it now, especially since Reckless came out, and I feel very justified in my opinions of this book since so many more popular BookTubers agree with my thoughts. This book was a whole lot of nothing, with bits a pieces taken from other media. It's really discouraging as an aspiring author myself to see publishing companies working with authors and books that have no substance, when there are so many other more proficient writers out there who can't find a publisher. At the end of the day authors like Lauren, Alex Aster, Rebecca Yarros and etc are not good writers, they're good at marketing.

I can't speak on it personally. They might have been hiring then filled the position before calling you back. That's pretty much the only reason I can think of. They really weren't picky with who they hired at the store I worked at.

Yeah it was super chill. Thank you! I got it from the thrift store but the brand is actually Shien. (I never buy from Shien personally but their clothes end up in the thrift store so often. Better than the landfill I suppose.)

Depends on how early you want to get up. The woman who worked our 5/6am shift liked it because she could blast music on her speaker, but to each their own. Typically she was alone during those shifts, so if you prefer being around people then a later shift would probably work just as well for you.

Typically we started cleaning hours before and sat around and did nothing until close. The last thing we would do is mop. Usually we got out exactly at close.

@@rbecca_stone was the tip pool pretty good? I have interview there looking for a part time job.

@@kendalljohnson9403 My store was incredibly slow, so tips weren't very good. I can't talk for other stores. The tips were split between all the employees, from some research my ex-coworkers and I did. But then again, I can't speak for all stores.

I got paid $13 when I worked there, PLUS tips. When they say $16-$17 they really mean $13-$14 plus tips. It's misleading for sure.

Yeah, thank you! It's still very dark but the bleached bits have lightened significantly.

Also did you receive an email or a call and do they ask you or they tell you that you’re hired for the position?

I actually can't very accurately speak on this topic because they hired me when they were still new at my location. They hired probably one or two people after I was already there, but not really after that. As for how they hired me, they called me in for an interview and hired me right then. I didn't have a call-back or anything. I'm not sure what the hiring process is like at other locations.

Team Members under 18 usually get stuck frosting, rolling, serving cookies, or folding boxes and cleaning. TMs over 18 are allowed to use the mixers and ovens.

@@rbecca_stonealso if you only work part time, how often do you actually work in a week and what do the hours look like if you are a student in school?

@@RachelGutowski-fe1rw I was working full time when I was there, but for the high school students they usually came in at 5 and left at 10, maybe 3-4 times a week. Some of them worked less than that.

The color doesn't usually dye my skin too noticeably unless it's green or something really dark, plus with my gloves covered in dye I didn't want to get a towel all dirty every time I needed to wipe my neck. I get it tho lol. Thank you!

I know, I really don't understand it. I really couldn't find any positive traits in either character and I tried really hard to keep an open mind.
