When I first heard about something like this, I said that it's a very smart thing to use a microwave oven to jam a drone.. After a simple google search, we have the microwave oven today because the magnetron was used as a radar with tens of years ago..Therefore this technology is extremely old and outdated. How would anyone think that the military would need a microwave oven to manufacture weapons if this invention was used militarily decades ago? At best if you manage to jam a drone with a magnetron, it will head back to the launch point because they have an automatic system and return using the gps back to the base..

how would trees canopy impact this directional signal? I currently have an omnidirectional antenna on my shop to pickup the house wifi but in the summer months the trees are massively impacting that signal.
