I got a k comer printer and couldn’t get the drivers to download. It turns out it was my antivirus software (avast). I did scan the drivers for malware but avast didn’t find any malware but was still blocking the driver download. I tried to whitelist it in avast. I tried to pause the avast antivirus but still wouldn’t download. I actually had to uninstall avast, then the drivers installed. I’ll have to reinstall avast now. I’m on windows 10.

Please please please do NOT get the OEM Bosch ICONS because it wont fit if you have the J Hook style arms. Get the ones designated with "A" ie 26A which for my honda is the drivers side. Auto Zone rep tells me OEM labeled Bosch would fit my car and even showed his computer screen. He was very wrong.

JUST A HEADS UP - THE OPENING IS WAY TOO SMALL , if you look at the blades theres a good 6 in on the bottom that arnt doing a thing , and afew inches on BOTH sides Minimum opening per manufacturer is 14 sq; other wise the fan is working against its self and will burn out the motor , those rubber tabs are vibration dampners

I had to have an international drivers license when I went to Spain last year so it’s not a scam at all. Another US couple checking in tried to save $20 and used another method and got denied. Sounded like their trip got ruined when I was driving off and I sent them AAA’s application so they could try and get it asap. You need to do your proper due diligence when driving in another country for applicable laws and policies within the rental company. I’m sure there’s other avenues to save $20 but it literally took 20min at AAA and I was good to go. Remember you’re dealing with multiple layers of bureaucracy and unfortunately most countries don’t have the US’s level of freedom and rights.

You missed an important reason: very friendly price tag. There are beautiful exepensive knives many won't be able to buy. This one (or similar category ones) get the basic job done.

Thanks for the video. A tip: it's better to avoid boiling water; the hotter it is, more steam pressure will produce, which will make it hard to press down the center piece. In case this happens, pull out part of it to help release pressure and push in again. You may need to do this 2-3 times, depending on how hot the water is. Cheers

If the kids don't open and close the window regularly and given the height of the second story bedroom, they may not be a need for the screen to begin with? A screen is merely a way to keep insects out. if the kids don't open and close the window regularly, then you may as well just take the screen out permanently. Another option would be to have a utility knife on a string or chain in the windowsill solely for the purpose of cutting away a square hole in the screen so that the kids can fit through. This would also ensure that the kids wouldn't just fall through the window on their way out, but rather have to crawl through the whole made with a knife as reassurance for someone that may be afraid of heights. Again, these are just suggestions but easily overcome obstacles as there is no one size fits all emergency ladder scenario when it comes to fire safety. It's up to the homeowner to utilize the tools provided by the manufacturer in the way that best supports ones needs. It's simply a ladder that's meant to be a means to escape harm and prevent death. It's not perfect, but it sure as hell beats jumping out that window.

What if the kids were to undo the rip tab prior to engaging the ladder over the window well? I think this would be a highly effective means to use as a countermeasure due to its current design. It's so much easier to look at a problem rather than solving one with a simple countermeasure, such as explained..
