I can't believe this made it to CZcams, and wasn't censored for being racist with stereo types. I guess they just saw the thumbnail and thought he was gay or something. I love getting the chance to see some of these old shows.
“Your college education helped. You’re 3rd in your class, you’re no dummy. You’re not known on the street, and your the right color.” Folks. I must say there is no such thing as systematic racism. Even back in the 1970’s.
How would YOU know. Is this based on your experience as a Black person growing up in the 70’s? Are you basing your assessment on a fictional television show, and not on statistics in the 70’s of Blacks in the police academy? I love these shows too, but that doesn’t mean we ignore the reality of racism in America even in the 70’s. 🤨🤨🤨🤨
I love watching these types of shows. Love doing research on the actors to see who they were...where they are now and if are still living.. Love the 70's vibe as well. I watch this every Saturday night on H&I. I have officially turned into my aunt who used to watch tv all night until you would see the static at the end and the national anthem played lol.....
Any chance of uploading Police Story: No Margin for Error - 1978? I saw it on Heroes & Icons. It was great and timely for today. facebook.com/actorglennford
Brings back so many memories growing up,when the whole family looked at t.v. together.PoliceWoman starring Angie Dickinson also came on NBC around that time. And,of course,Sanford and Son.Ahh',the good ole' days when talented people actually,COMPOSED music for the opening credits for sitcoms.Did anyone notice the drug seller in the poolhall was also,Starsky and Hutche's mean sergeant?
This show is about the workings of the Los Angeles Police Department LAPD. This episode is titled The Ho Chi Minh trail. The allusion is the title of a trail in Vietnam 🇻🇳. The cop on assignment is a Vietnam War veteran.
