I have an Ender3V2 and love it.. great for model trains and for things around the house and workshop. I picked mine up just over 12 months ago now, and it was 2nd-hand for $250Au with 3 rolls of filament locally from Marketplace.

Thanks for the video. I've just upgraded a Hornby A4 and a Golden Age Models A4 to Locoman ESU decoder. Much better than the SWD, which was OK in it's day. I've put large Rail Exclusive speakers in the tenders. great sound. The serial number is also shown in the bottom left and corner of the LoPro screen.

There are many situations not dictating to use a reverse loop module (RLM). E.g. the layout in your sketch at 3:02 just needs a relay depending on the turnout. The considerations are similar to those when powering a frog, and some switching motors already come with contacts intended to this purpose which could power as well the reverse loop. If standard double solenoid motors are used a relay with two solenoids can be used in parallel. But you have to make shure that the turnout points always in the right direction which can be done by contacts applied to the rails in the loop.

Absolutely amazing they made new starter sets for 395 its a 1720 and 3 wagons sadly the 1720 classes are coming to end of service as a railfan i havent seen a 1720 out for the last 2 years which is sad because they are my favourite QR deisel loco ahead of the 1460 classes its so cool that you got the bicentennial one also cool fact 1723 is now operational by Watco Australia used for Cramsie and Winton cattle trains anyways cool video

It's still small ho is 87scale . One thing doesn't change the driver. QR narrow gauge,are full size locomotives. Why is the model small as to other makes of models.

I have the same Hornby Pullman coaches but when being pulled along by the loco the lamp lights flicker but when the coaches are stationary they stay on constantly. Why is this?

Love the review, however can you tell me that the 5 cars can run in either direction, considering there is one driving car and while it can lead what about reversing, is it just as comfortable as going "backwards". And un hooking. Now I have the Hornby Class 370 and it is amazing, as the driving car is in the middle of 5 cars it is very comfortable going in either direction, oh and it tilts into the turns, pretty cool. The middle drive car has a inter locking type of connection to each car while the other cars are just a drop on type, but very fiddly and patience required, hence my question about the coupling.

Nice locomotive, but how can you run the working pantograph, which you raved about, in the Down position? Sacriledge! I would have fixed the tunnel clearance first. 🙂

Question why are your models noticeably small. QR locos are full size locos on narrow gauge. The one one thing that doesn't change anything to all other makers of models is the driver. We don't exclusively build for midgets.

Thanks for making this video, have been thinking about a 3d printer for a while and looking for pros and cons. Understand what you mean about the cost of the hobby and this is a way of customising the layout for less outlay. Also looking at the smaller items like skips, post boxes, lampposts etc. Thanks again 👍

I have just purchased these point motors for my Restoration project in conjunction with the Cobalt Alpha switch setup. I have not yet begun the installations however I intend to have the points on their own accessories bus for the DCC and the control system which is NCE Powercab will br separated which will simplify any possible fault finding issues which may occur. The restoration project was originally a DC layout however that was in 1973 and DCC offers a lot more advantages than the older technology which was available at the time. The Cobalt motors also have the advantage of being able to control signals from the outputs on the connector using terminals 4,5&6 which is a plus when using these as a replacement for solenoid motors.😄

Nice video pet :-) you could probably do with some "knitting" on your layout .. as for the 90, 91 and 92 compared, the 91 is pretty much only ECML passenger express functionality only, the 90s are a mixed traffic loco predominantly WCML but seen for a good period on the GEML and sporadic ECML use, then, there's the 92s mostly Freight use made for channel tunnel operations initially, more recently found work on the Caledonian sleeper, basically they're all a little different 😉

They must have heard you on the instruction manual. Now (a lot later) they have probably the best manual on the market. Fantastic info on the prototype and the model too.

What did you do with the AD-FX BEFORE you created the accessory in ECoS? Is there a programming step missing in your video? For example, both the Digitrax DS64 and/or NCE Switch-Kats must be programmed with jumpers or switches at the board itself. I fear your video is missing that step.

Great video and review. With the light bleed issue, seems to vary from model to model. Mine was bad in the power car, ok in the dummy. Was a 10 minute fix with some black paint. Body comes off really easily with no breakage etc. once this is dealt with its a top notch model in my view.

The word "Cobalt" concerns me. The reason being that Cobalt can be radioactive (Co 60). And it's known that some 12v DC motors produced in the US contain radioactive cobalt magnets. US Radioactive restrictions are not as stringent as they are in the UK. Where such motors are supposedly banned. But that hasn't stopped ignorant citizens from importing such items from the US in the past....... !!!!

Nice update. I've just got my Celebrating Scotland azuma from hornby. Like you I'm pretty pleased with it. I'm sound chipping mine, able to fit a 22x13x6 bass enhanced speaker in it from roads and rails. I'll look forward to watching more from you, just subscribed cheers Andy

I bought the Belmont train pack 2 years ago. Did have problems with the couplings as I have 1st radius curves on my inner track and have incline and decline track on the outer track. I replaced all the tension couplers with #20 Kadee couplers and have no problems since. Good to see you back.

Great to see you back! The Azuma 800 is great, unfortunately one of my coaches had the lights fail, so I've got to open it up and see whats up. No real point sending it back to Hornby from the USA with the shipping costs, at least they will send me parts :) I don't think Hornby are doing the extra coaches for Azuma 800. They appear to be doing them for the Azuma 801/2, so R40350 goes with R3965 (unreleased Azuma 801/2). If you don't care the running numbers don't match, it'll work. Its such a nice model though. Looking forward to the TPE livery ones hopefully they'll show up sooner rather than later! :)
