Love cats, I am familiar with these beautiful shy animals , the only i would avoid to meet is a feral American Bobcat or a Mountain Lion , lucky us in EU the biggest one is the Linx but very hard to meet and as wolves do don't came close to humans. If someone manages to photograph the European Wildcat I'll buy him a beer if he shows me the picture of course. :D

My issue with the clipper is the spark wheel snapped in my pocket with all three I’ve bought. Only issue with Vaseline and cotton balls is they freeze. If you’re going camping near freezing you may want the wax cotton rounds instead. If you tear the duct tape into really thin strips it’ll light with the ferro rod, and if you roll it into a tube it makes a long lasting tinder. Gorilla tape works amazing in both forms.

I'm so glad to see you again! I don't want to make this about me, but I feel like you should know this: I want you to know that your videos and those made by another gentleman - Reallybigmonkey1 - really helped me the beginning part of this year, especially in April and May. In the end of January I had a devastating knee dislocation that tore my connective tissues and caused my kneecap to become mis-aligned and set at an angle from where it should be. In otherwords: I couldn't walk normally and had to be laid up on the couch with my knee elevated. Up until very recently. Your videos helped with my depression, especially after my surgery (it was like 4 surgeries in 1) when I could not walk without difficulty, couldn't put any weight on my leg, couldn't walk up any steps or stairs, and couldn't even get myself something to drink without difficulty. I thankfully had much loving assistance from my family, but even then it was very tough. I hope you come away knowing that you and the videos you make mean very much to me. -Jep

I agree no cutting/wood processing tool is a bit of a shame. Thank goodness they didn't throw in one of those cheap wire saws and try to pass that off.

Also missing tin foil, the gel works way better when it's in a little tinfoil cup, also makes a lid for the mess tin. I have this and I keep it in a small bag with a couple of other items and all in all I do like it

I have a uco t-light lantern. I obviously buy the t-lights for it so I know the one in your tin burns for 8hrs... Take care out there.

Yeah, no cutting tool included, but I guess most campers will carry one already. I agree on the point that you're most likely better of making your own survival kit.

Great film mate, but in my opinion it is far better to make ones own survival kit tailored to ones own needs and environment depending on where you are travelling to or through.

I agree with you mostly, most survival tins are rubbish. Its better to devise your own, with good quality itams. The tin itself is the best item in that so far. Survival is what you have, when needed not perfectly, but essential items to adapt for your use to help you survive. Its knowledge that counts, lofty wise.an wrote sas survival manual jn 1950s. It is still relivent to day. Shggest you all get a copy, and become familiar with it.

Fun video :) Always fun when you torture your bro's 😂 Myself, I'd always take a lightweight tarp over those emergency bivvy things.. too much of a suffer fest! If I HAD to use one, I'd cut it open and make some kind of lean to with the sides pulled in in combination with a small fire a safe distance in front to throw off some radiant heat.

Hi - not sure if it's in this video but in your original review of the Geertop Bivy you had the tent set up wrong. Look at 1:40 where you can see you neglected to put the front pole thru the big arch sleeve, and you can see the sleeve lying flat in front of the pole. This doesn't change the waterproofness of the tent, but it does the interior volume.
