@@shreyansh4u594 tbh I think they were both equally as serious, I love both shows and grew up with both but I’d say that metal was a bit more serious because it had more deaths and violence

YEP! I can’t really think of another Beyblade protagonist who got written that well

Tyson prolly is the best protag but I feel he suffers from repetition. Has a falling out with the gang after losing a questionable match that he arguably should’ve won, and then comes back and apologises. He does this every arc btw. But I feel he handles the zero to hero concept the best, and most of his victories are earned. It’s mainly that his losses feel regressive at times.

@@imanikaiii202 yes. I feel like his character was sort of completed in Season 1, but they had to keep regressing him with repeated self conflict to keep things interesting. Which is unfortunate. It’s kinda like how Goku is handled in DBS.

@@Auvisome if you’re talking about Tyson’s loss in the World Championships, he only lost two times which isn’t repetitive at all. Considering both of his losses were based on what Tyson needed to learn at the time. First loss against Ray and Lee, Tyson really needed to accept that his old teammates are his rivals now. The second being against Julia and Raul, which of course Tyson needs to remember that he’s a Blader first, and shouldn’t let his title as champion determine who he is. Again, he only lost two times in the world championship.

TOO REAL, I remember when I had to bring some old spinning top to school cos I didn’t have a real one yet

In my old school people used to take the caps off of juice bottles and take off the soda cap rings from bottles and put the rings onto the covers of the juice bottles. Those bottle rings used to function as attack rings. And we used to spin them by holding the bottom of them where the white cap used to be and then twisting our fingers(i Kinda like snapping your fingers) to make them spin. Some of them even used to sticking thumbtacks on them to make them have more weight and these were the most op back then by far. They also stuck the thumbtacks underneath them to give them a bit more stamina. We even used the caps of glue bottles(eg elmer's glue) and spun those. They were also top teir and had pretty good stamina while being pretty out of reach for most other "beyblades" back then. And we used to play with them by flipping over the bin covers. They had a pretty nice bowl shape and had a good size and looked just like the stadiums in the anime. Of course our teachers didnt approve of us using the bin but it was easily the best we could think of. And i remember too sometimes kids would flip over the bin cover mid battle amd if u tried to get your beyblade out of the bin they'd say "dust bin digger digger" Too bad those days are long gone but it was definitely fun and I made a lot of friends in primary school because of it. Unfortunately at some point that trend was over. Never stopped me from keeping and even using and upgrading some of the tops i had from back then but it was nice having people to play with
