Baylor University Uses Keysight ADS Python APIs to Succeed in ML Research for RF Power Amplifiers
At the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2024 conference, Jonathan Swindell, a PhD researcher at Baylor University, explains how the Python APIs of Keysight's Advanced Design System (ADS) have been used to generate power amplifier load pull training data for machine learning (ML) research, without human interaction with the ADS GUI. By automating the RF parameterization, nonlinear simulations across HPC resources, and data reduction and preparation, Baylor researchers saved an order of magnitude of time and resources in their artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) research to accelerate RF power amplifier (PA) design efficiencies.

I have the S11 graph with multiple attenuation peaks at different frequencies between 8 GHz and 12 GHz that can be considered as a low pass filter and I want to get the circuit that describes that response but considering the position of the peaks and the maximum values of attenuation.     Hello Mathew Sir, While computing NDF using WSP probes (at internal nodes of the devices, also ensuring ckt passivity when device is off), the encirclements for NDF is coming negative ( < -1) . What this represents ? Is ckt unstable in this case? Second doubt: Apart from perturbation frequency sweep ( small signal frequency sweep), shall not We sweep the signal frequency spanning over MHz to fmax of device ( although ckt passband frequency is very narrowband ) ?

    Did I get it correctly? The V_Probe instrument simply does not work like the I_Probe in Transient; and you have to use labels instead. So what is the use of V_Probe? A deprecated tool not removed for the version compatibility?
