as a Tunisian I enjoy Malteese language and culture .. they are our historical real cousins .. I understand nearly everything
Maltese is a descendant of the Phoenician language. Semitic =/= Arabic Stop spreading misinformation.

Dude, you speak Arabic
🇹🇳❤️🇲🇹
i love you . maltese
Nice seeing a traditional (North African) *Arab* dairy farm. Didn't realise *Arabs* ate cows or milked them like we do in the West. I always associate them with Camels!
The Arab World is bigger than the United States with diverse history, culture, origins etc. I would say besides language, it's even more diverse than Europe!
This shed is in Malta. Gozo maybe?
You are working hard
Not electric to milk cows?
Maltese bread has changed. It use to be dense inside. For some reason it is now too light and fluffy. I have tried many and they are all the same. I have now reverted to making my own….and it’s as I remember it to be. The bakers have told me that it’s the flour. My own bread turns out fine, so it’s not the flour.
I suspect its down to EU regulations. *Arab* bread should be full, wholesome, tasty and thick!
@@sanchoodell6789 Seriously get lost you fascist piece of trash and stop trying to steal Maltese culture.
سلام عليكم اجدادي😅

Nothing beats Maltese bread!
Come to Reghaia, you will descover the best and very nice Bread
I love Maltese language, Merhba from Algeria.
Maltese language is the direct descendent of the Siculo Arabic, it's the only one semitic language native from Europe
@@tlx-vp1svthere were various Arabic dialects once spoken in mainland Europe such as Sicilian Arabic and Andalusian Arabic. Also there's Punic language in mainland Spain and the islands of Sicily, Sardinia, Malta and Corsica before it was replaced by Latin.
@@tlx-vp1sv No it's a direct descendant of Phoenician.
@@magnuscorbin5040 no it is a descendant of Arabic not Phoenician. "La yakun lak zare bayn al hayjin taht ashams" this is ARABIC , but Phoenician and arabic are both semitic languages and thus they are similar to each other, the similarities between Maltese and phoenicians is pretty much explained, since maltese is derived from arabic it would also be similar to phoenician. Stop embarrassing yourself. The only real descendants of phoenicians are modern Lebanese and Syrians. Stop associating yourself with us.
This language is similar to Algerian 🇩🇿 and Tunisian 🇹🇳
Tunisian dailect or siclian Arabic which is a Tunisian diaşect at that time east algeria was ours and there was not country called algeria or libya
❤️🇩🇿
Omg 😮It is the mixture between the Tunisian dialect and the Italian dialect, and although I have never been exposed to the Maltese language in my life, I was able to understand his speech , i like this mixture
It is siculo arabic the arabic dialect spoken in Sicily many centuries ago, now known as Maltese proudly spoken by the Maltese people both in Malta and abroad like me in Australia
@@Il-bebbux full respect that you did not drop it for the colonizer languae the English ..as a Tunisian I see Malteese as our cousins in blood since carthage ...and yes sicilian arabic is only still existing in Malta ..lampedusa pantalleria and sicily once spoke this language
I am from Algeria , and could understand 70% of the content of this documentary , and the linguist gentlemen "Il Arbi howa Isses ta il lisen il malti "Which of course means: Arabic is the foundation of Maltese language ☺️
you are correct ☺️
It most certainly *IS!*

This is probably the easiest language for an Arab speaker to learn
For north Africans not Arabs.
@@rochedileo North African Arabic speaker to be exact.
Certainly. It's an *Arabic* based dialect most affinite with Maghrebian dialects but does have a bit of Italian pollution.

Now, the 3rd world can no longer travel to Europe. New modern day caste system. A conspiracy theory that actually came true.

I like how the baker sounds very Arabic and not Italian :)
we are neighbours to Libja
Maltese is an ancient Phoenician dialect with Latin words also included. It may have some Arabic sounds, but is not Arabic.
