I rechecked my records. This was a good blade for me, maybe did 11 shaves with mostly light post shave irritation. ONLY one of these blades tried. From 3 or 4 years ago.

Temp in the "low 100's"...? 🥵 I thought the low 90's here in NE Tennessee was way too hot! Anyway, US made Personna blades were the only DE blades available in stores, years ago. Today the "store brand" (CVS, Walgreens, Dollar General, etc.) DE blades are made in Korea and China. Quality not as good. 😐

After I commented on your 8/27 video, I then checked out your other videos. Appears you are on your way to trying ALL the DE blades currently available as I suggested. A while back I discovered that Perma-Sharp blades were originally made in the UK (Scotland, 1960's)...then later they were made in Turkey...today they are made in Russia (not the same factory as Rapira-Voshkod). The P-S blades I have don't have Gillette on the package. Bought them in 2017. Thanks for the video! 🙂

Did you buy the Rapira blades recently? The price is like triple what it was a few years ago. I think I paid $7.95 / 100 from a Russian seller in 2018 or 19. "OK" blades but nothing exceptional IMO.

You made a very brief fleeting comment about 'not use aftershave for years'. I NEVER use "after shave lotion" or I NEVER use "after shave splash". Only rinse my face , dab it dry, and use postshave balm. Once in a while I use Witch Hazel, but that is as close to aftershave lotion or splash as I get. No find the need for 'lotion' or 'splash'.

The passes with the growth and/or accros the growth are or is what prepares the remaining wiskers to be shaved against the growth - just an impression so far.

Holy smokes you went over the same spot 100 times with a razor blade no cream and still no razor burn! You must have RHYNO skin!

I can get 10 or more shaves on a blade, depending on which blade product.

Not sure what kind of irritation that five-blade cartridge gave or gives but very likely you would find the use of a double edge razor and blade to give less irritation. (MILD razor)

The Aveeno is labeled as a "gel" but it looks like a cream.

Your evaluation of the Racer blade is not completely clear. At the end you gave an extra piece in which you say, "4.5 all the way". But earlier than that you say not for a second day in a row. How was the smoothness of the blade? Also, how many shaves will this blade let you do?

Maybe a modified title and description? Some viewers may want to know ahead of time this video includes the use of Schick disposable-head razor for a head shave and part of a face shave.

To use a multiblade safety razor for removing several weeks of facial hair growth is not for me.

The music which is playing during the video is distracting. If you use this method in future videos, try reducing the volume (of the music, that is).

Yes, I was trying new camera angles and then changed the frame format direction. That's why it cut things off. Just had fun here. Great shave. Slight irritation afterwards.

I never had any luck with the derby professional blades. The derby premium blades you shaved with look more promising.

Rockwell blades are awful
