Chimney Sear Steak. Yummy!

Hey, I do a lot of stuff on my channel. But I gotta eat too! This old Alton Brown chimney sear steak method has been around a long time. I forgot how great it is. This has been my take on his method. Heres the ole Good Eats vid. Classic stuff. czcams.com/video/t4aI_O8kcN8/video.html

One of my crazy songs I wrote years ago. I am removing all my Vimeo vids and putting them here on one platform. So from time to time you will get something pretty crazy.

Aother great video. You have a short cutting a Uke neck on the shapeoko. Any chance you would share the svg files for the Uke(S) - many thanks
Nicely done - any chance you would share the CNC files?
I just got one and I agree.
"promosm" 😬
and there is a wild beast lurking in the background!
awesome gadget..
Any paint odors on the outside of the tent and outside fan?
This is fantastic- could you explain how you secured the buffer and plate to that trolley? It looks like there is plywood underneath but I’m not sure how that was secured. Many thanks for your advice!
I wonder how quiet it is when it's cutting something other than air......
It’s still pretty quiet… I can talk to people, standing next to it, at a normal volume. My dust connection (I’m running a festool extractor) is WAY louder. I partly got this to cut down on noise.
Really nice brother!
Good to see you on CZcams again Lonnie. Sweet sounds.
Super sweet.
Sounds beautiful man
Do you set the tension to what the guide on the inside says for the width of the blade?
Hey nice job man!!
Awesome video, brother! I had “come up with the idea” of using a grow room as a paint booth after finding them on Amazon but your video was great help for ventilation. My setup will be in a basement so looking like I’ll need to go inline with ducting to a window but I love your magnet/box sandwich setup for filters and such- I will be using that. Thanks again! (And it looks like this is my daughters CZcams account… haha)
I have 3 questions for you Sir. Is Koa wood hard or harder than maple/walnut/purpleheart? How long were those Koa boards you were resawing? Last, how many minutes it take to cut 1 slab from start to finish? Thanks for a great video.
Hi lonnie did you add an extractor fan on the top of the tent or just a filter box natural positive air coming in
Thanks for the nice and detailed explaination
How easy or not is it to adjust the lower blade guides? Thanks
America, Fuck Yeah! Awesome you found good use for this killer tent. Although i wish it was All US made. Sadly, thats not the world we live in. At any rate, Legalize it already! Cannabis saved my life. PTSD. I knew the opiates & the rest that they strongly suggested, were more harmful than they were letting on. I would ask my buddies what they think, if they were still w/us, but i sadly cannot. But, I'm sure those vets would say, "stick w/the natural stuff that actually works, w/out all the side affects. Folks have been using them for thousands of years." 'Side affects such as... Death? So silly, & harmfully unfair, to say the least. Fuggn 'stroke of a pen, Mr. Prez! One Love. 🌱🕊🇺🇸
I recognize the marker #'s on the koa.....our LazyJ from eBay!
Looking to buy my first bandsaw...the Laguna 1412 looks like the ticket. Your video was excellent; bandsaw tips and safety concerns, blade choices, how to deal with koa...you make it look so easy. Thanks for a great video! (subscribed)
Thanks brother!
About masks: like many folks, I had to keep reminding myself that Covid masks were to protect other people from me, if I had Covid without knowing it (we are infectious for 3 or 4 days before symptoms appear). Workshop mask is to protect me from the dust (and protect my loved ones from medical bills and nursing me with liquid lungs)
I noticed you didn't show the adjustment of the lower blade guides. Was that because it wouldn't have been family friendly? Worst design I've seen on a band saw lower blade guide.
bottom blade adjust is a nightmare easier to take the table off and do it
OMG brother. Don't even want to talk about it! Ha.
Hello Lonnie. What is the brand of you axis control keypad? Thanks!
This is from Techkeys. Really handy! techkeys.us/collections/keyboards/products/ninekeyboard-cnc-edition
Nice Rides , good tunes , what more can you ask for !
What a great idea , shouldn't get any dust in the spray job for sure !
Unbelievable! ,Nice
Now that's a nice machine , not to mention what a beautiful wood grain you got out of that cut.
Thanks brother!
Do something?….
haha Love the look at the camera when he brought up not having a Laguna tablesaw!
Amazing video as always. Wow, you need to research P r o m o s m!
Just happened upon this video cruising around the Tube. Love to see you again on AR. Come say hi sometime !! Troutman
Just bought this saw and blade at 7:00 AM this morning. Replacing an old Craftsman that has served me well. That blade is Boss!
Love the fact about the masks so true. Good looking wood and i am getting a laguna 1412here also Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the information on Koa. Great advice on avoiding the planer on that type of wood.
So Very Good to see ya, Brother!!! Beautimous Koa, oughtta make fer a dang danged Fine Ukelele!!!! Stay Safe an Well, way on down there, clear to Space City!!! :-)
That is some gorgeous wood!
Beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing.
Holy Crap. That’s incredible.
Awesome Lonnie! Measure ten times cut once
very nice video!
.0015 runout is really good!
Thanks brother! I need to get a more precise indicator like you have.
How did you set the actual speed while moving? Just hooked mine up to my 2000 xlh Hugger, had me going about 75mph in 1st gear when actual milage was about 20mph. I know it says to use either a pace car along side of you or a speedometer app to guage your actual speed but once I'm actually riding how did you lower your speed on the unit itself? Everything else except certain codes I don't need shows up just fine except real time speed. It's all over the place, which the manual says is normal until you set it up correctly.
your too funny man, and great content. Subed to your channel.
Yes but will that J&S jack jack up an 05 Dyna Wide Glide 88 twin cam with the pain in the ass oil pan protector in the way? If so what’s the model number I need a jack for my 05 Dyna Wide Glide 88 twin cam.
Excellent demonstration of those Super TOUGH "Venom Steel" Gloves.
I know the feel of power in the ride is hugely noticeable... Picked up a 2000 883 Hugger in Sept. Original owner installed an S&S super e carb, cam and I'm assuming a 1250 from S&S or NHRA and the extra power, from what little I can remember from riding a few 883s back in the 90's, is crazy. I'm going for the Hammer Performance 120+hp kit next winter, if finances allow lol. First owner of my bike set it up as a highway/drag type ride...drag bars, 1 mirror, removed speedometer and indicator light bar. If I do go that route I'm gonna look for a Buell 1125cr/rr
You're breaking it in right Brother. I wish my customers did a proper break-in!
Thanks brother!
