Any chance the NSS controls the reverse gear? My 2004 Grand Cherokee reverse went out. All other gears shift perfect.

Gonna call it - taking the NSS off when the transmission is already out is the tittiest of titytitit jobs ever. How about someone posting a removal with the trans still in the jeep and the nut is stripped to hell?

You should used a magnet stick to put your lifters in its a lot easier also soak them in oil it fills the lifter with oil so it is already pumped up when you start it
