No one has mentioned that this gorgeous car has bucket seats with a console. I always liked the bucket seat option on a caddy. I think they started offering the option in 1959. My grandfather had 63 Deville, 64 sedan Deville and a 66 Deville all with bucket seats.
The difference between the 1970 and 1971 Eldorado's is shocking. This 1970 is sleek, modern, just gorgeous (and would be even better looking w/o a vinyl roof) and then in 1971 they made it into a fat, bloated old man car with fender skirts. Though they added the convertible in 1971. 67-70 are the best! Cadillicious!
Couldn't agree more. I've owned two slick top '67's (black/red, Capri aqua/aqua), and two slick top '68's (Silverpine green/green), and Regent Maroon/maroon. This was my only vinyl top car. My favorite year is '67, but I'd love to find another '70 slick top in black or a dark color too. The '71's were over fed, laughably baroque. By '75/'76, the car had recovered some of its poise after many of the tacky design elements (and the fender skirts) were dropped. I have a '76 convertible (second one I've owned), not as trim and athletic as the earlier cars. But a lot of fun when you pack in six or eight friends for a top-down cruise!
@@joenorthrop1088 Someone made a custom 1968 Eldorado Convertible! It is so gorgeous I almost passed out! I cannot post the link or the website but just do a search for '1968 custom eldorado convertible' Let me know what you think!
Wow😀 Absolutely stunning and stylish. The color combo is striking to think this is a factory color for a luxury car manufacturer Cadillac. And then you look at the egg shaped boring vanilla tin cans that try to pass off as cars today 😢😫😫
The beauty and perfection of the 67-70 eldorado is that it looks great in every color. This is probably my most favorite classical american car. Just perfection of design. I can't say enough about this car.
What a stunning automobile. I'm so jealous lol. I've never seen that Firemist color. Wow! Really pops. Loving the white interior and top with it. They just don't make cars like this anymore. All new cars look the same, like bubbles going down the road. These cars had style, sophistication and class. When you pulled up in one of these, all eyes were on you. Luxury at it's finest. Enjoy that rare beauty! I hope to have one like it one day.
+1. Gorgeous Aqua Firemist metallic. .. The 1970s fond memories. .. The family car was a '69 Sedan DeVille in blue w/black leather. .. Took my teenage DL test in mom's big-ole-Caddy,, parallel parked and all. .. Your Eldorado'd whitewall tires look period correct - that has to be a tough find? ..A minute or two of interior video footage would be a treat! .. Eldorado GM designer Bill Mitchell would be proud. .. Cheers, Drive Safe..
Wow, magnificent! I had a gold, tan leather interior '69 from 81-87, also added the earlier wheel covers, most amazing automobile I have ever owned, mint condition, pride and joy (which I see you share).
@@Samuelfish2k Unfortunately someone sideswiped it up at the university, decided to sell rather than repair it. It was still driveable, but broke my heart. Felt the repair would never be the same.

I had a white ‘70 Eldo with a Wild Plum leather interior. Nice car.
Aqua firemist metallic! I love this color!
My God that color is SPECTACULAR!
Great car
That exhaust didn't sound OEM; don't like the noisy stuff on classic old cars.

What a beauty. From an era when owning a Caddy meant something.
Stunningly beautiful color combination.
What a cheerful looking car!
Beautiful, I liked the hideaway head lights better
Other than those rims... I love her. That's the thing I LOVE about my 76 Eldorado convertible custom. She's got the wire styled caps

Joe, love the car. I would highly suggest wearing the shoulder belt for safety, but you will get a better feel of the car when wearing the seat belts.
Beautiful
Pure class
Love it! And no stupid touchscreens.
Beautiful car
