Are estheticians trained to do this at nail salons, or is the doctors office the only place to go? My nail looks 100% like this after hitting it on the wall about 2 weeks ago. I had been wearing latex gloves for a long time and the nail was already brittle and weak from always being wet. Now the nail has separated halfway up the nail bed and I am worried that after 2 weeks, it may be two late to have it grow back normal. It'll take another 3-4 weeks to see my doctor as they never have appointments right away.
