This was a masterclass kindly given by Marcus Miller at Bass Day UK 2011 in which he played some of his famous tunes, answered questions and give a fabulous personal insight to his career to date. Marcus is accompanied by Pat Illingworth on drums. Couple of points. 1. Beware slight distortions in the audio XD. 2. Its 1 hour 29 minutes, so sit back and enjoy.

I remember way back in the early 1990's and I asked who TM Stevens was when he played on that Vai record. I was told "oh yeah he played for the pretenders". That dont sound like any pretenders records. Then he released a solo album and I was just blown away! Dude was on a whole nuther level! Those custom streamers are awesome too!

TM certainly deserves more spotlight and credit, guy plays with the funk of Bootsy, the energy and attack of Cliff. TM Stevens is the real deal
I'd like to see him and Bobby Vega sink into a groove. They have kind of the same percussive tech.
Love to TM Stevens....he influenced me in the late 90s. Love to all dementia patients. ❤
