Ciao, di cosa hai bisogno?
@@lorenzograssi2683 Dovrei chiederti una cosa in privato come posso contattarti ? Grazie mille
Volevo chiederti informazioni riguardo una dinamo Lucas montata su una bsam20, grazie. Dimmi come possiamo metterci in contatto.@@lorenzograssi2683
I'd prefer the look if it had a front mudguard. Nice bike though.
🔊Even in 2023 the best instructions on assembly👍🏼
Gracie mille, sbagliato polarizare? Forgot polarize?👍🇧🇷
Thank you for taking the time to film this, and share your knowledge with us! You do amazing work 👍🏼😍
I would like to use a test light or buzz box to time my BTH mag but have continuity with the points open and closed . Does anyone know how to properly connect a test device to the magneto ? Thanks Much !
check this my video czcams.com/video/mCsr7Px-sKo/video.html
Fantastic video. Could clearly understand just with the subtitles. Very detailed. Thanks for the effort.
Doesn't take dwell into account at TDC, also to say, bring up towards full advance to negate gear lash .
Been there, done that. It's just paying yer ' dues, then let the good times roll.
Excellent - I don't speak Italian but understand the procedure ! 😊
Nice bike!!!!!I have a 5T Speed Twin 1953💯❤🤘🦾
hi look nice
What brand is your boot?
Hola Lorenzo, te consulto por si podes hacer un video del dinamo de gilera saturno 500cc del 1948 y además si se puede pasar de 6v a 12 v ¿como? muchisimas gracias. abrazo.
you can try to change only voltage regulator with 12v one, some 6v dynamo produce enough voltage to work at 12v. Otherwise you need to change the dynamo armature
@@lorenzograssi2683 muchisimas gracias Lorenzo.
How is this bike sound like 315 ' firing order harley davidson ?
Clearly a man of few words and deep dedication. Great work brother!👍
Ciao Lorenzo,si trovano in Italia o in Europa il kit di riparazione? O solo in Inghilterra? Mi servirebbe per una dinamo Lucas E3HM-LC 6 volt senso orario. Grazie.
Prova a vedere su feked.com
Gracias por publicar este video! Me ha ayudado mucho.
Hello, is this a 1948 Triumph Speed Twin with a 30's British girder? Or, is that a reproduction front end girder? Thanks & beautiful Triumph!
48 speed twin with reproduction girder fork
@@lorenzograssi2683 Thank you Lorenzo. Is it the India made reproduction? I'm thinking of buying a later Speed Twin, and then installing a 30's Girder. Have any inside on this Lorenzo? Also, what kind of ride(Rough?) with that rider? Thanks.
Good video! You can stop the magneto armature from turning when you tighten the bolt by taking out the earthing brush holder. Remove the carbon brush and spring and fit a small wooden plug, This will stop the armature from moving while you tighten everything up. Replace the carbon brush and spring and you're done.
ive got same engine how do you get the cove off for the points.do u take the brass nut off its like a dial for advance and retard.minrs a 1974 t110 engine

One just can't beat the sound of old-school. I have a 48 that needs restoring. Bought it from someone that may have tried to make some sort of racer out of it. When I took the engine apart the connecting rods were lightened of sort. Perfect holes drilled in the connecting rods that may have gotten some extra RPM out of that 500 twin. May years ago, I've seen something like that but that may be an old-school trick I don't think I would have gone with. No matter, the frame is intact, the engine is there. Sadly, I never herd back as to the story about it. All contacts stopped. Can't beat the sound of a British bike or a Harley. Ok, I'll give you Ducati boys a heads up too. (chuckling) Ride safe, ride free.
Never drill out con rods, the hard work they do is unbelievable. Change the engine oil regularly. Greetings from Cornwall England.
@@exb.r.buckeyeman845 Greetings Buckeye, apology for my delay in responding. couldn't agree more with the oil changes on the air cooled engines. Over here in the Colonies people did weird things with engines for racing. If I ever get this 48 Triumph restored, I'd be a tad nervous using these connecting rods. I hate restoring things if I can't use them on a regular basis. Although with the low horsepower of that 48 here in the States I may have to keep those connecting rods and some sprocket changes to maintain 70+ MPH for several miles at a time. Think Autobahn. G'Day from the Southern Colonies.
@@grumpyt3169 Thanks for replying.
Theres so many better ways to add performance than poking holes in con-rods.
I know, I bought it that way. And no, I won't be using those rods I'll be going with sprocket changes to get a bit more top end. I want to keep it as original as possible.@@dubes5594
I think this is the most beautiful movie I've ever seen! You've captured the ups and downs, and all the emotions that go along with restoring these wonderful bikes! 😍 Thank you for sharing this amazing story!
What a beautiful bike.
Thanks for share this step by step guide Lorenzo 👍!!! I just renewed a E3LM and I found 2 things Very important that doesn't appear here in the video, must remove the gear without touching the cap, there is a thread bushing inside, so the cap can't be removed with the gear at the same time! Be careful! First remove the gear with 2 screw drivers between the gear an the cap, carefully movent... And don't forget when assamble the cap with the new bearing, don't forget to put the bolt that engages inside de cap.... Do it first, then put the bearing and the cap...
Cool video! Must be satisfying to see it through.
Can you update engish sub titles please?
I had one the first bike I owned and first to ride I loved it . Sorry I sold it
Hi Lorenzo! Excellent video!! Could you just please let me know the following: once you have timed the engine using the method shown in your video, then which spark plug cable (from the magneto) goes to which cylinder? Is it the one closest to the cylinder head (inner) going to the right hand side cylinder (from rider's sitting position) and the outermost one to the left? Hope you will be able to post a response.
I am In Bulgaria and need a re build on my BSA A10 Dynamo have you an E mail

Your shop is a lot neater than mine, but I don't hold that against you 😜. Love those old Brit bikes.
