Have a great deal of healthy envy for Mr. Cameron's success and wealth. I find it remarkable how he has used them for worthwhile pursuits and productive passions. The right mix of hard work, artistic creativity, intelligence and good fortune.

How can one man be so based?
I simply love this guy, he is a rare 10/10 human being that's on point. There seems to be about 30 to 50 of these people on the planet. I wonder if they're a different type of human than the rest of us simple folks.
lately, I have taken an interest to pinning insects, which has taken me down an entomology rabbit hole. I have seen many videos of different collections and different amateur/professional collectors and researchers, but only two videos have stood out to me and have made me reflect deeply about something that I had not considered. That would be: the collection/preservation of extinct and critically endangered species of insects. Just as it is important and IMPERITIVE to do our part in protecting and preserving habitats/species, it's also important to catalogue and preserve species of animals that exist in nature. Like Mr.Harris says in the video, it must be done quickly due to the rapid degeneration of the habitats around us. As native species of plants and animals go extinct, we lose the opportunity to learn about them, observe them, and run the risk of never even knowing they exist. It makes me wonder just how many species of bugs have gone extinct without ever having been noticed or seen by people? What beauty that has been lost forever! I'm sure no one will see this, but if you do, and you happen to read all the way to here, I'd like to urge you to begin your own insect collection, and dive into a new world of absolutely wonderful discovery and fascination! I also urge you to take action in your local community activist groups to help stop urban sprawl, as well as removing political leaders that assist and comply with large corporation's and their destructive practices that incentivize greed and monetary profit. Capitalism itself must come to an end completely if we want the planet to survive. So please, organize locally, practice your right to protest, spread your own message on social media, and discuss topics like the extinction of bugs due to urban sprawl with your friends and family so you can paint capitalism in a new light, hopefully being able to change their minds and persuade them to vote and think differently. Any and everything helps, and is appreciated by nature all over the world! peace and love, friends! <3
Sorry but the title is misspelled it should be ‘In Conversation with James Cameron - The Bravest Pioneer’.
32:10 he predicted the OceanGate implosion 😮
Thats not a prediction brah....it's just a probability of an unfortunate consequence
The woman is not on his level.
There is no silver bullet, Cameron. Maybe it works, but the unintended sideeffects of every silver bullet so far, tought us otherwise.
WHEN THAT DOOR OPENS BE READY!
Fantastic interviewer. Truly well done.
Thanks for uploading! Very great discussion
Jim is a true polymath. His range of expertise is truly remarkable.
He designed and built his own submersible to go to the deepest point on earth in between making several of the top 5 highest grossing movies of all time.... that's how he spent his spare time 😬🤯😳🤯🤯😳🤯😳
He's a cool guy. Wish he was more "accessible" lol
Yeah
I LOVE YOU JIM! Straight love.

25:17 Herman Melville has something to say about this: "Here come the Crowds pacing straight for the Water and seemingly bound for a Dive. "Strange! "Nothing will content them but the extremest Limit of the Land; loitering under the shady Lee of yonder Warehouses will not suffice. "No. "They must get just as nigh the Water as they possibly can without falling in. "And there they stand --- miles of them --- leagues. "Inlanders all, they come from Lanes and Alleys, Streets and Avenues --- North, East, South, and West. "Yet here they all unite. "How then is this? Are the green Fields gone? "Why is almost every robust healthy Youth with a robust healthy Soul at some time or other crazy to go to Sea? "Surely all of this is not without Meaning. "And still deeper the Meaning of that Story of Narcissus, who, because he could not grasp the tormenting, mild Image he saw in the Fountain, plunged into it and was drowned. "But that same Image we ourselves see in all Rivers and Oceans. *"It is the Image of the ungraspable Phantom of Life; and this is the Key to it all."*

i'm a straight male, but didn't James get more handsome with age?
... from a scene in a much older movie, i "once", and only ever, once, heard a mature womans' character, express her mildly bitter, dissapointed, observational perspective, on just that very same view, as yours; that, and quote: "It just isn't fair. As a man ages, he becomes more attractive. But as a woman ages, it shows that she gets less and less attractive", end quote ...
That's the best video on yuotube as far depicting the real entomologist life on the field, I just see myself doing the same things

Can't believe nobody in that audience ever heard of Jacques Cousteau! Don't feel it, but I MUST be old.
Such a sad thing....
I'm young and I definitely know Jacques Cousteau so I don't think it's an age thing :) think it depends on your hobbies. If you're a diver, you'd DEFINITELY know who he is.

James Cameron teased Avatar Sequels but The interviewer didn’t ask him any questions related to the sequels. She had a very great chance to get exclusive headlines about the sequels.
