Lynch Mob 7/25/24 St Peters, Mo Concert Review
You must have been at another concert! I and droves were leaving it was so bad.Mixing, electrical,?? I asked people leaving, they all said the same. It was like there was no rhythm section and they couldn't hear each other. Not that each player was bad, just nothing blended. Horrible .
Where were you sitting?
That was Liam at Reading✌🏻😉
Yes…
@@Intersectionrecordsstl You said Noel
Thanks!
Thank you
I was there. Loved it
I'm really excited for the reunion and I really hope they do a world tour so hopefully I'll get tickets for that
Maybe accounce the Wembley Stadium run. Let that sell well and then next summer announce late summer and fall US tour
#oasisreunion
Speculations of a 10 day run at Wembley!
Would be sweet!!
im not that keen on it
@@roywatson8133 Creating over zoom,in my opinion, just does not work well. What happened to being in the studio at the time, over a period. Of course, understand that for JA this was not possible, for number of reasons.
Having been a Yes fan since the late 60's I have to agree, this is indeed a new Yes album. 🤣 "Full Yes Mode." Epic describes the album.
Totally. Treat to have in 2024
True Yes and more.
This band is off the f...cin charts. Tighter than ok I can't say this but smoother than a shaved, ok I can't say this but the music and the drums have all the sharp twists and turns, stops, and the drums are heavy articulate and I love this. Jon has found GREAT musicians to do new music with. Please guys have fun and make more and more and more and more. Thank you for great progressive music.
Heck yes!!! Love your enthusiasm!! Jon births great ideas and demos and Richie and the Geeks add twists, turns and push the songs across the finish line.
@@Intersectionrecordsstl I am an audiophile and was weaned on rock. I just reconditioned a Yamaha PX-3 linear tracking turntable and the first NEW record I have bought is this double blue offering. Can't wait to sit down and enjoy! I am so excited at the level of quality that these guys are displaying.
Jon sings very well. His new album sounds like 1980's yes. I am loving the new album and thank you for your review. I really enjoyed it.❤
Absolutely. Love having Jon in top form! Thank you for watching and kind words.
"Once upon a dream" is a masterpiece, right to the heart
So much going on in that song. Saw an interview today where Jon talks about a spring tour where they play the album and assorted Yes classics. Hope it happens
@@IntersectionrecordsstlIncluding the UK ? It's a hope
In considerable parts, yes agreed.
It's a damn fine record, ain't it? Counties And Countries especially!
Yes that song is definitely one of the best. Just so cool that it exists and all these years later we have more classic Yes-like music
I lost interest when Jerry died. He was the genius. I'll still go see them occasionally, although its been a few years now, but I never play anything post-Jerry.
It’s a fantastic 5 star album .. and .. it’s a grower. It’s weird to have to say .. Deep Purple are underrated. In their prime they were the best live rock band on 🌎 . I saw them in 1972. This album has some of that energy.
Can't imagine how hard it would be to get a ticket to a concert he does to hear him perform Journey's songs again I heard him say he would do lot more Journey songs then he did those few years ago.
The more I listen this song, the more I analyze it, the more I like it. First hearing, I felt confused. Now, I consider it another master piece from him.
Oh yeah I don’t even get me started on that list.
RIP Jack Russell!!!
Great White was excellent and could have rebounded like some of the other 80's bands are, but not without Jack Russell as their fromt man. RIP or Rock In Peace Jack Russell. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
So true
I always loved Great White. Rest in Peace Jack , I'll miss you.
RIP Jack you freakin rocked!
Jack is one of the best, I guess it was inevitable.
Maybe the band should pass out Quaalude upon entry so that everyone can get a good night’s sleep.
I am going to see David for two nights at the Hollywood Bowl at the end of October. Can't wait to see the master in action again!
Hell yes!!! I saw him on the Division Bell tour in Birmingham Alabama in 94. Tone master!! Have fun! Will be a special night!!!
@@Intersectionrecordsstl I saw 11 shows on the Division Bell tour and made a last-minute decision to fly to see their last show at Giants Stadium. I'm sure glad I did since it was the last U.S. Pink Floyd show ever.
@@69fogdogdamn!! Nice call!!
What’s your opinion of Rogers redux of Dark Side?
@@Intersectionrecordsstl it’s OK but still roll with the original.
draw the line’s GOTTA be higher
Kings and Queens one of my favorite songs by them but they sound a little tired to me. Still a damn good album. Thanks for watching
I love it to ❤ you sir have good taste in music
Thanks for watching Tim!!!
Thanks for the review. I like what I've heard from this record. I'm going to listen to some samples and may even buy it, although not on lp, as I don't pay vinyl prices unless it is from my favorite tried and true artists.
I hear you $38 is kinda crazy for vinyl
Nice work
Thank you. Phenomenal catalog Just saw him for 15th time two weeks ago live. He’s the master
Really enjoying all of your content Ryan! I am sure we crossed paths on the road back in the day at a show in the 90’s as I saw a ton in midwest 94-98. My candidate for this is a clear cut one...Eddie Vedder. His voice is completely gone and dreadful now, their sets are super stale, tickets are insanely overvalued, and Eddie as a know it all is getting quite old. Immortality? Nah...a pathetically bad duet of “Betterman” with dreadful Post Malone sealed that fate.
Hahahahha. Totally. Bad duets are a clear sign the end “should” be near
Best SP album since Adore
100% agreed
No Kiki Wong on it?
Journey will never be Journey without Steve Perry!!!!!!
It was epic! The lights were sooo cool. I was on the floor two people back from the rail. Incredible 🐠
It was amazing. Would love to catch another show. Maybe Colorado or TAB in Memphis. Thanks for watching
Shame but everyone in the band is over 70 years old and to be honest they done one studioalbum and a cover-record in the last twenty years. They sadly wasted quite much time. I would loved to hear at least two-three more records from the time they weren't very active. One of my favorite bands but so many bands are getting to this point. Might be as well to hang it up before most of them are gone.
Totally
I love Ocelot! Good company with Dali & Parsons :)
Hello! I’ve been a Jon Anderson and Yes fan since their first album landed in the US. I am so looking forward to hearing his new album with The Band Geeks. I only wish they’d play a gig in the Pacific Northwest! Either lineup! It’s so frustrating to see these bands and others skipping my corner of the continent!
I noticed that. It’s all east coast and Midwest. Hope he comes back out and includes a show for you!!! Peace!!
I’m not excited for this at all I can’t believe they are doing this. I don’t get why people hate Johnny he’s human too and he can have his own opinions on politics and stuff like that he just wanted to express himself more people need to read his biography he’s not that bad of a person he did everything he could for the Sex Pistols he played frontman and manager because Malcom didn’t know what he was doing and Steve and Johnny didn’t get along from the start Johnny wrote in his biography that he didn’t even want to be in the band.I have mad respect for Johnny STOP HATING ON HIM HE DID NOTHING WRONG!!
Lydon has his own mind, which people hate. Most people are sheep.
Ryan , I caught the Carl Palmer ELP show at the Wildley theater last night! Great show
I met Jack in 1988-89. He was super nice and no rockstar ego. I also saw Great White when they opened for Whitesnake. I was impressed with his voice and the entire band played a tight set. God bless you Jack!🎶
I just subbed your channel..I am a huge Billy Strings fan and loving the album..Very jammy for sure..love your review..great job👍❤glen
Thank you so much for watching and the sub!!! How about Billy’s two sit ins with Phish last week?
Thanks for the review. Been a Santana fan since the eighties. I have a soft spot for those eighties albums like Beyond Appearances and Freedom even though I’ve read a number of reviews that put then lowdown the order in his back catalogue. I still like them as they remind me of my teenage years.
I hear you. I don’t know that material as well. I’m gonna listen to those albums this week. Insane how long his career has been.
His voice was beat a long time ago.....his time was up.
Thanks for this ranking rundown. Islands - can almost smell the patchouli coming off it. Nice to see you rate it so up there. I grew up with them in the 70's, my cut-off point - post Red onwards. 80's stuff, ah, no - particularly Belew's Byrne sing-a-likey stylings. (To these ears mechanistic, academic, brittle was the impression those left. Lost their gift of creating an atmosphere. ) Maybe that's where Math rock was invented. (?) But loved '71-'74 period - convincingly gentle & poetic one minute, in a heel-turn downright menacing. 'The Court' & 'Poseidon' I think I over-played as a teenager, but 'Lizard' to 'Red'.. were they ever a weirdy-arty morphing beast!
Thanks for watching. There is a ton to unpack on their albums. Listening experience can depend on the mood you are in with some of the 70’s stuff. Peace
@@Intersectionrecordsstl So true
Same for me. I love the early albums but post Red, no. I can't take the 80's math rock sound at all.
I was also there
I was at that game
This is actually really cool
Any time sturgill puts one out its album of the year for me. This time around I think I need to give it to great American bar scene but this is definitely my favorite Simpson album yet
