Hey! Awesome flight dude I'm looking into getting viola 16 as my first A wing. Ive mostly seen it as a miniwing so not sure if it's a good choice for a novice pilot. What do you think? Thanks!
Hi, i think for an completly novice pilot the 16er is to small. For this size you always be able to take off and land safely
With an auw of 100kg, what wind speeds generally allow for comfortable soaring? Looking into the 15m for strong coastal days, I’m at ~145/150lbs so not sure if I would be better suited for a larger size or not

Nice wing! I'm about to get the 16. What do you think is the best wing size (m2) for hike and fly?
For me the best size ist the 14 m2 because he is faster and smaler in packing size. But the choice of the size depent on the skill of each pilot.
@@ole.kramer i have never used a mini wing but I think it is the best choice for the stronger winds in mountain
@@battestini8918 yes a miniwing is much better for stronger wind. But on the first flights with a mini wing be carefull with curves close to the ground.
@@ole.kramer Hey, have you tried the new advance pi3? Which one do you think has better handling, the pi 3 or the PHI Viola?
@@battestini8918 No, I hadn't tryed the Pin3 but I have some good experiences with the Pi3 and I can say that for me the Pi2 is better, so I can imagine that the Pi3 also better than the Viola.
Hello man, this summer I will come to the Alps, in Chamonix with my hike and fly equipment, do you recommend me any cool easy hike and fly's? is it possible to do it in July? Thanx bro, keep with the videos👍
Hi, I can say that July is a good time for flying i. the alps. But i can't give you an awnser on the question where around chamonix are good spots for Hike&fly because i hadn't any experience in this part of the alps.
I plan to buy the same wing sale size, how is the climb for that wing?
The climb of the wing isn't the best. I think he is perfect for learning Speedflying and for soaring at the cost. I hope I can awnser your question.
Oh yes its really easy to takeoff.

Hallo, Ziad ist nicht die Referenz für Dein Empfinden. Testen und Deine eigene Rückmeldung geben ;-) Vielen Dank im Voraus. PS: ich war nicht immer dergleichen Meinung mit den renommierten Tests... Leistung ist eine Sache, der wichtige Spaßfaktor wird aber zum Beispiel oft ignoriert. In dem Video von Ole spürt man den Spaß-Faktor sofort. Daumen hoch!
@@brunojacq5473 natürlich ist ziad nicht dass Maß der Dinge, aber eine gute Anlaufstelle um zwischen den Zeilen zu lesen ob einem der Schirm gefallen könnte
Hy, ich bin auf der suche nach einem 16er... wie würdest du den PI2 und Viola im vergleich beschreiben? Würde mich über eine Rückmeldung freuen. Besten Dank.
Hallo Stefan, beide Schirme sind sehr gut vom Fliegen, Packmaß und Gewicht. Jedoch würde ich eher die Viola empfehlen, da der Schirm einfach von der Entwicklung moderner ist. Jedoch muss man am Ende selber entscheiden, welcher einem besser liegt, oder grad günstiger zu bekommen ist. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Ole.

Yes ist is very easy to handle, but maybe for a firt wing not so good, because the construction is very light, i think he is good as a second wing.
