Simbi and The Young Fathers are the most entertaining live acts at the moment and that’s not having a go at all the other excellent music coming out of the world. This girl is just the best thing I think I’ve ever heard and I’m an original follower of the punk and new wave scene with so many fantastic bands I followed in days gone yore. THE SLITS being one of them and of course from the reggae side LINTON KWESI AND STEEL PULSE

How the hell does this great artist remember the rap from all these great songs. What a memory, what an artist. Grey Area was my go to album but since then Simbi has become a superstar. She is now above the great Janelle Monae as a show woman.

Fun Fact: The metro’s had to close of certain areas as a result the concert because there were so many people going to it and it lasted till 11:00 PM. I know because I went there and almost got crushed by the amount of people trying to get through the exit. 😂
