Auf dem weg nach Hong Kong für ein 10 wöchiges Praktikum an der Chinese University of Hong Kong mit dem DAAD RISE program. Meine Reise Startet in Köln - Düsseldorf -Abu Dhabi - Hong Kong Insgesamt war ich einen ganzen Tag unterwegs. Sobald ich angekommen bin wurde ich unglücklich überrascht... Mein Zimmer war widerlich. Ich hab es aber mit viel Überwindung geschafft alles auf vordermann zu bringen.

Sorry for the delay this is from 2 weeks ago. Maria, Angelo, Aharon and I went to an old abandoned Coal Mine close to town, the incline was so steep I was done for the day, so Mirelas Waffles was all we needed ! The day after we went down to the beech close to where our Dorm is and took some pictures, afterwards we had a "cosy" evening in the tents :)) Pictures by Angelo

Exciting day with the Norwegian Fleet ship KV Svalbard. Collecting our Moring with all the instruments back provide harder then we thought so we had be on the Ice crushing ship of the coast guard to get our data back. Just a regular day of field work with UNIS :))) Picture credit Sil

Probably one of the most amazing experiences of my life, in probably one of the most beautiful place on earth. I am so fortunate to have shared this with so many amazing people in such a beautiful landscape. The total eclipse was just gorgeous and left us all speechless. Plus we got to cuddle puppies. Possibly the most amazing experience in my life in one of the most beautiful landscape on earth. I am so lucky to be able to share this with so many great people at a place so different and gorgeous as Svalbard. I can not even put into words how surprised I was when the total eclipse hit. Meine Woche zusammengefasst, erstes labor, dann Essen mit Freunden. Leider konnten wir an dem Abend die Polarlichter nicht sehen. Heute bin ich zum Strand gegangen und es hat sich so stark verändert, in den letzten Wochen ist der fjord ziemlich aufgetaut. Es wird langsam wärmer je mehr Sonne wir bekommen :)

Hey, bin Koch und hab nich verletzt. Jetzt kann ich auch jeden Tag ausschlafen, ist zwar bissi langweilig aber jetzt gibts erstmal Kaffee. Viel Spaß Dir an deinen ruhigen Tagen. Hätge auch gerne mal wieder schnee im Winter. Meine Nase läuft auch, hier ist auch arschkalt und ich putze auch aus lw und bin voll happy XD. Liebe Grüße .
