They can't break a whole egg ,only if it got pressure will it pop, they eat so much, this is just a calcium bonus for them, yeah but I heard the same thing I haven't had a problem with them eating any newly laid eggs

@roncoquillette6576 We had to many roosters, plus Molting Molting is a natural process where chickens lose and regrow their feathers.I didn't know you were only supposted to use one Breeds made only to Guardian a flock.Do you have any thing that you (Like) 😉 I would love to see how you do it ! You can do it ,plus the eggs are unbelievable, I thought I knew eggs ,I was wrong, free-range birds & eggs are all you need if shit goes south .I work 9hours on 3 free range chicken eggs, or 12 Quail eggs . 5 females Quail and 1 male are happy in a 2x1 foot cage ,our hatching Time has 4 teirs with 3 pens on each teir.Females lay about 6 eggs in 7 days at 8 weeks old

@@havenshomestead Everyone was fine. We actually wanted to use it more as a shade umbrella for the hot Georgia sun. We made their outdoor run on a drain field so we are trying to be creative and avoid digging.

from the females malting others are from the males grabbing them when they're humping them no lice or fleas around we use Dimensions Earth lime and a couple others essential oils to keep them away

Threw sales of BobWhites Quail Chickens Turkeys Ducks Guineas and eggs all help pay for the farm , I do the work mostly myself,I got a neighbor that helps when I need a hand.

The key is little bit at a time ,find what you want to enjoy,if you get to much to fasted ,it takes the fun out of it, key is to build automatic water and feeders as you grow your farms numbers
