I have a great interest in collecting & preserving yesterday's music from the 60's - 70's - There's many memories here for those who are still "young" enough to remember the artists & songs so please enjoy your trip down memory lane!! feel free to leave your comments on your favourite artists or a song that has special meaning!! xoxo

This song was recorded from Johnny O'Keefe's TV show Sing Sing Sing in the 1960's by a lovely gentleman who has chosen to share with us his treasured memories of a collection of songs he actually recorded directly from the TV set onto an old reel to reel tape recorder! As far as we know, they have never been recorded on any of JOK's records. Enjoy!

harmonies amazing but could I hear a vibration coming off of their teeth
Our first born daughter our beautiful rebecca was named after this song when she was born in 1993 . And she is now 31
Absolutely brilliant. What a great version of this Bob Dylan classic song
Saw these guys at cobourg town hall back in the day
I love you dad
Love it..great voice.
Bit of a Scott Walker-y quality to his voice.
I knew Noel Widerberg before he became famous. I used to work in the Claims Dept. Of A.M.P. Society as did Noel. All day he would sit at his desk singing mostly Franf Sinatra songs. 2:57 2:57
WOW....what a beautiful memory Margaret - thanks for sharing! 🥰
Good but take a listen to Joe Dolans version
I agree. We have been blessed with their harmonies. Such gifted song writers too
Beautiful .... and so very young... !!!
The ultimate doo-wop song courtesy of the baddest trio to walk the earth 🤙
Thanks Normie. ❤❤❤❤🇦🇺
Love it Michael 0:19
❤ it Michael 0:37
It's so nice to see them all so clean-cut and clean-shaven. No long hair, beards, or moustaches !
❤❤ At the time JO’K was accused of CORRUPTING THE YOUTH! Especially teenage GIRLS!!! This song was particularly egregious so far as the conservative set were concerned!!!! Bans were considered in Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺…. Equivalent to the Deep religious South of the USA 🇺🇸!
Music that started it all . Such great memories
Skeeter Davis owns this song.... Period!
Láska navždy! nikdy jste nezklamali❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Pee Wee was everyone’s favourite and a really nice person, seemed to have a dry sense of humour.
Very talented group of lads. Never sang a bad song and happy to sing a song of another artist, particularly the USA. Let’s face it the late 50 and early sixty’s did show much of the Overseas Artists. Radio yes, but not TV. Johnny O’Keefe wasn’t shy about singing songs of the Artist’s either, although he was a flop in the short time he visited the USA. They would have loved John Farnham and would have made him a super star, however, John was a Home boy who did ok thanks to Glen.

If we didn't know today's bee gees, this performance would have laid underneath any video archive without even having to watch it again. Because it's pretty lame. Progress and evolution make beginnings important. Begining is just beginning. Worthless.
Bless you Sallie. The late 50s and early 60s are a treasuretrove of lovely ballads and melodious tunes. An Aussie.
I'm a barefoot boy. I never wear shoes or socks unnecessarily. So perfect!
Bee Gees in ‘58: **moving to Australia** A race car driver with the same initials as Barry: I’m about to start these guys’ whole careers

Gosh, they were so young here!
Maurice and Robin looked like twins here. Robins personality is the most obvious difference. 🙏💕
Blowin inthe wind think about the words and then think about the World now. What happened to Human kind. Pls think about it. Thks.

Hören sich genau so synchron an wie die Everly Brothers, einfach nur Klasse
What happened to the beginning? It was cut off.
I'm teaching and soon recording a version of this with my students! This nice song resonates with my Ugandan World with all the turmoil we are in!
Classic 1:04
Wonderful.
Why is their mom not listed on Wikipedia??? She was a strong STRONG backing force for them. 😢
For those "twins".....MAURY....MAURY....MAURY!!
Beautiful Johnny 0:51
