I'm sorry. The only information I have on the subject is described in the video. Since I made that video I have thrown my Alexa in the garbage and changed to a manual thermostat. It seems that technology always lets me down when I need it most. I've abandoned it all and feel better all round.

I agree with the flat sounding notes. I'm sorry to say but I'm playing it just as I wrote it down and as it is intended. The banjo I'm using in this video needed serious attention from a luthier as it had some serious intonation problems. Perhaps you could build me an autotune device with one of your Arduinos? :)

I know the feeling of dashed hopes. I'm sorry to hear of your dilemma. I threw my Alexa in the trash a year or so ago and replaced my Honeywell wifi thermostat with two manual generic units (non programmable) with a splitter switch (8 pole triple throw), center off to select between upstairs and downstairs control. This eliminates my need to depend on wifi, multiple server services and/or big corporations who tend to change the rules without considering our needs.No one seems to have the least desire to provide reliable, consistent service of any kind these days. It appears to be worth the extra effort to manually control my environmental settings because my stress levels have gone from around 9 (on a scale of 1 - 10) to around 0.3). Stress will kill you BTW. Don't give up hope; just stop depending on big tech. It worked for me. :)

haha, I didn't even think of saying it like that. Good catch! I'm not exactly sure what you mean by latency problem. I know what latency means but don't see how it presents a problem in this application. Please explain.

I created that video several years ago but here’s how I remember doing it. I first recorded the song audio (including harmony) on a multi-track audio recorder. I then wrote a script carefully timing how I would lip sync with the audio recording while verbally interacting with the other me (video). Then, using the script I made the two video recordings; one of me on the left side of the screen and one of me entering from stage right. In both video recordings I was lip syncing with the audio recording of the song. My editor at the time had a masking feature so I just masked out the right half of the video on one and the left side on the other. Apparently MAGIX decided that was too nice so they removed that feature in later versions. When I edited the audio track and the two videos into the finished product, I just muted which ever video sound track I needed to eliminate and... Bob’s your uncle! Does that answer the latency question? To be honest, latency never entered my mind.

Andrew, I'm not really a tab person. I waded through creating the tab when I made the video and several people have pointed out mistakes that I've tried to correct. I don't claim that my tab accurately portrays anyone's version of the tune except my own interpretation. Also, I play totally by ear so if I play a tune twice it will probably be different both times. There's no way I could even reproduce tab of what I did without making a mistake. My point was to offer something to get the novice headed in the right direction and hopefully folks can take it from there. If you'd like a copy of my tab, I'll need your email address. Thanks for your comment. If you'd read my comment just before yours you'll understand. This video has been up for a very long time and it continues to get the same comment stating the obvious. As I have stated many times before. On the ultralight, the rudder alone causes the plane to bank left or right. I didn't design the plane. I just know it works that way.
