Goornong station cost about $2 million to reconstruct and gets only a handful of passengers each day. What a waste of money.

I’d love to see someone take the overland from Adelaide to Ararat then transfer to the vline via Ballarat. During weekdays this will save time and money. The portion between Ararat and Ballarat is by coach though

Yes it was only a dollar. For vline you pay just $9 or less to go anywhere in the state

My guess is that the last train, headed by BL26, was on its way to Mildura, which isn't an unusual roster for BL or G.
I agree it’s probably the fruit train to Mildura, just was confused because the NR Class hauled intermodal to Adelaide was due just then, so I’ve done my research now
Train spotted every weekend at Donnybrook till about 1 years ago. 3rd world now. Won't go anywhere near that hole! The amount of rubbish dumped everywhere! Awesome video . . . Summerhill Rd is a fantastic vantage point . . .
Thank you! I was travelling by bike while filming this so couldn’t make it to all the way to Summerhill rd. Although I do try to go as far as possible away from stations to catch the trains at speed.

Great video!! Saw your dad this morning and he told me all about your adventures. Just went on the Indian pacific for 3 days and it cost $5000 for a twin cabin with en-suite. I give it a 6/10 but the food was definitely a 9.5/10! 😃🤗
