Biggest Cabo Verde waves EVER??? The Windsurf Project - Episode 6
Last winter saw a perfect swell heading for Cabo Verde. Being a place known for longer, more perfect rides over big waves, the swell that arrived produced some of the biggest waves in years. All the forecasts under predicted what arrived and we were lucky to be in the right place at the right time to score what was a perfect trip. We were joined by Kai Katchadorian who lives for these sessions.

Those Windsurfing actions which I watched put and kept a smile on my face right throughout as I have been a Windsurfer myself over 40 × years and can see the continuous development of the boards and sails as time has gone on.
🏄👍That Windsurfing action was a delight to watch, and the commentary and advice given during the same was good and also well worth adhering to whilst practicing the sport.
👍Both the wave jumps and riding upon the tidal flows of that strength are a delight to watch, and although I haven't managed to practice any of those actions for quite some time I go into a daydream each time I see them on screen and wish that it was me performing them.

The Cape Verdes and their people are very nice, the waves there are awesome, but too less wind. I have been there in january and I had just 8-15 knots 10 days long… 🤷🏻♂️

When you're cruising fast along the smooth waves .... its amazing dude. I must share that. And the jumps are epic too, its true ! I thinking of some musics that could bring big nice chills while watching those amazing performances. I dont have the level in windsurf to do that yet, but for sure thats the curves and the power im searching for.

I'm 63 and in my whole life, I've only ever met/known one serious wind surfer, who is probably 10 years younger than me, but he claims to have been one of the UK's best in his day - a bloke called Mark Farrington. I used to surf, so I used to get around different beaches, but seeing wind-surfers was on par with seeing Dodo's - so I reckon you'll struggle getting a million views, but I might be wrong - good sport action afterall is always watchable.
Ya lo habia visto, cuando salió. Pero ahora mismo, lo acabo de ver dos veces seguidas. Realmente el nivel de edición es tan espectacular como los riders. Las olas, que parece ser, son descomunales, merecian un video de categoria superior, como éste. Y también gracias a Thomas Traversa, el mejor windsurfer libre actual, esos grandisimos aéreos. Gracias a todo el equipo, por este video. Si durara, hora y media, merecería verse en cines.
