Can we take a moment to be impressed by this level of technology in a robot? This is a great learning tool. Back in my school days we didn’t have robots. We had mannequins.
We had a delivery sim last week with our mannikin. Her water broke, she can hemorrhage, everything!! It's insane how real they are!
I remember there was a class at the BOCES class in Medina, NY which I attended since 11th grade (until I graduated in 2004) that was a nursing class. I thought such classrooms were more common in colleges rather than just BOCES in Western, NY. The teacher who I put up with since meeting her in 2001 would order someone to go to the nursing class, and whenever she did, she would tell the people to go there to "go to the classroom where the dead bodies are" (since the classroom had mannequins much like what you're seeing in the video looked "dead"). I've seen various videos with other mannequins that speak, most likely with a pre-recorded voice - with the voice I'm cursed (or blessed) with, I could most likely voice a young child - and I'm a 38-year-old woman.
