In Australia I've seen more LR's broken down at the side of the road than Prado's.
Comes down to ownership and maintenance. I've owned alot of discoverys. Never really had any issues

I Love Land Rover its really and pure 4x4.
I love sand driving. Drove and owned different 4x4’s. The LR is a phenomenal off-road vehicle. In my opinion I’m not sure the under dog’s tyre pressure was correct for sand driving. To get a fair playfield both vehicles need to be fitted with the same type of tyres and equal tyre pressures all round. The Prado shouldn’t have struggled so much especially on a flat surface.
