Firstman FB 60 Amp Demo
Here's a quick demo of a rarely seen piece of gear! Probably dating to the 70s, this is a little solid state combo meant for bass/keyboard but the rotary effect is really awesome!

Tokai S.E.B. Guitar Demo

I wanted to do a little video about the patented Tokai body construction, called S.E.B. or Sound Effect Body. Tokai has been building guitars like this for a few years and basically the company combines different tone woods to achieve different tonal ranges. It's pretty cool!

    В настоящее время много насмешек над советскими гитарами. А на самом деле она звучит неплохо. И схемы у наших посложней были. Все зависит от исполнителя.

    That is a nice springy sounding Guitar, great for instrumentals and funky dance stuff. Love it, makes a pleasant change to the endless re-issues( which are great but too expensive) those pickups are "Out-there"! BTW , which amp and delay are you playing through cos it sounds superb!

    Is the slide part in standard tuning? Assuming it is since I didn’t see you change it. I own this exact year and model. All orig…not re-issue or kit guitar. It has sounds found nowhere else. Pretty cool for a Montgomery Ward special circa 1965. It’s my favorite guitar for slide.

    Hi Mike Duggen, In 1970 I use to have 2 late 1960s Melody Makers. One was a single cutaway and the other was double cutaway like yours. One had 2 small single coil pickups and the other had one small single coil pickup they were fun guitars.

    This was my first Distortion "Pedal" ever. a Keyboard player sold it to me for $20, around 1978, and mine was covered in a purple Fuzzy Fabric. I don't remember what happened to it, but I got a LOT of use out of it. It was very versatile.

    I have to commend both Gretsch and Yamaha. Their mid-range instruments are well worth the money. When it comes to their student and professional level models, you get A LOT more than you pay for. Hats off to both companies.

    But really. It is terrible! The setup and the playing both. I know you are quote okay in certain styles and ways but it is just not one of them. I rather not even mention the "sheddig". And on the backing track she sounds like some rusty bucket. Sorry mate, I know you can do way much better.

  • @sandordula5207
    @sandordula5207 Před 2 měsíci

    Very sloppy, sometimes even cringe playing. But. Even then you can feel the vibes, the sound is there that we need to bring out from a sixties guitar. But the distorted part is a big no. Either you need a different crank or you need to set up the guitar and the amp properly. I watched this video unti the end, it was fun. Anyway...
