In this video, we demonstrate how Yum Audio’s Slap plugin can transform a raw beatbox into a track that hits hard. Slap is a multi-effect processor for drums, designed to enhance drum loops, creating snares and kick drums that slap and add punch to your tracks. We explore the Sub modules, adjusting tune, timbre, and length, and refine the Clap module to enhance the percussion. We also add a synth layer that complements the beatbox to show the plugin's creative potential.

Super cool. In experimenting, what I've found is the fluid IR sounds and definitely feels less static. That said, compared to the normal IR, with the fluid it did lose some punch with the Z Curve all the way down. However, once I cranked that up to about 7 it really came to life. Compared to a static IR this is definitely more organic sounding/feeling. Very well done Overloud. I think you guys are top of the heap.

I wish they sample an American steinway d as well, i don't really like hamburg d274s, they sound very bright and midrangy, but their engine is just the perfect combination of sampling and modeling and playability❤

Why don't they just make a module for us that have great midi keyboards? For me, the Ivory process to get it is way overboard with too many steps to get it working. Just do a midi module that works and is convenient.

Yes, there is a synth layer in Ivory 3 that allows you to layer a variety of pad-style sounds, including strings!

Thanks for your comment! First, In order to access Overloud's new Fluid IRs, update TH-U to 1.4.26. To update, open TH-U in your DAW (or standalone) and you will be prompted by a pop-up indicating that there is a "New Version Available." You can also log into your Overloud user account to manually download updates. After you have updated, all of your cabinets will be updated to Overloud's new Fluid IRs. In order to access the SuperCabinet IR loader, you will need to upgrade to TH-U Premium or purchase the SuperCabinet plugin separately (currently on sale at ilio.com/supercabinet ). After purchasing, TH-U Premium and SuperCabinet will be authorized in the same plugin ecosystem as TH-U Marty Friedman. Couldn't you just add brightness with post EQ if you like the sound of the certain console?
Console emulation is much more than just EQ. Consoles have many components that interact non-linearly, which is what TapeDesk is modeling. So while a certain console may add brightness, it's doing much more than a simple linear EQ. Thanks for watching!
