OP cleared about the confusion regarding waiting time in a comment- First, if you're gonna make a judgment, read through it, and don't make things up. They DID come back an hour after my ceremony. I said I waited 20 minutes. I then walked 3 miles before I was tired of waiting. It took me close to an hour to walk to those three miles, so add those 20 minutes it would've been over an hour. And add another hour because they weren't at my graduation. Then you tell me that there were kids with no parents there. I HAD NO PARENTS THERE. What are you talking about?? Help me understand.

NTA I found the original post the graduation was 7pm he got the text at 8:15 and it took him an HOUR to walk the 3 miles towards home when his parents ran into him (so likely 9-10 pm) YEA F**K those parents
