Im 67 in Sarasota, I grew up on Lido beach and swam in the pool every weekend. I was the last kid to swim in it before they tore it down and was the 1 st kid to go back in the pool after it reopened. This was an awesome place to grow up.

I stayed at 542 Canal Road (Siesta Key, FL) which was exactly a year ago from now I would have been there having the vacation of my life. Siesta Key Luxury Rental Properties has a CZcams channel you can check out (shows most but misses a couple areas of the home) and see the house, but I dont think there is a house better than it on the island. Personally I absolutely loved it.

Frustrating that location is not given in video. I must have too much time on my hands to even be concerned.

Almost married a young lady who grew up on Bob White Way. Her dad owned the Sarasota Art and Auction Gallery and the Benson’s Art Gallery in my hometown (Hendersonville NC) which he operated each summer as an off-season getaway. Fortunately (for her) she went off college at Tulane and eventually married a nice young med student who became an HMO psychiatrist in northern California. We had some great times in Sarasota and New Orleans but things have a way of working out like they should.
