My grandfather road an Indian Scout in the US Calvary from the late 1930's through to the end of the war (WW2). He still had to learn how to ride a horse and care for it as well. He was courier and forward scout. He said the bike was reliable and fast and could take a beating. I have photos of him bandaged head to toe with road rash from wiping out while evading fire on a dirt road in France. He picked the bike up and kept going. He continued to preferred Indians for the rest of his life. The Greatest Generation.

Please bring back the chief vintage. That bike is what you started with, heritage should be protected and cherished. Just Springfield with leather saddles ❤️. Please bring it back. It will rock even without new colors, offer it with Springfield colors only.

Why haven't these new Indian's been fitted with the old iconic Chief and Scout saddle, much more comfortable with it's wide raised sprung leather saddle, due to health issues that come with old age I have to sell my Indian FTR at the end of this year, I would love to purchase a new Chief or Scout with a seating position that suits my posture, damn arthritis means I can no longer do the clam riding position,.. Go On Guys, A Ltd Addition Just For Us Ol' Folk ❤

I have the first run of 2 generations including my 2001 vin 24 My first run 2015 I rode to Sturgis that year and what a ride & everyone was wondering just what my pony was. Scout is the best balanced with more horsepower I had ever had ridden. I bought a Springfield years alter but I gave it to my husband…. I love my Scout It’s the best !🇺🇸
